I don't have the red lights. Are you guys telling me that's a sign that it's going to lead to the red lights or something?

My system never had any red lights when it froze. It just made weird loading noices and once I heard those strange noises, I knew the game would freeze on me once again which it did. While it was frozen, I took out the disk and there was a message telling me it couldn't read the game disk even though my game disk is perfectly fine with no scratches.

I'm getting very upset. My Xbox 360 keeps freezing on me, every day now. It always seems to happen when I'm playing long portions of a game. I was playing Grand Theft Auto IV and was doing the mission where I had to save Roman from kidnappers which took a good 20 minutes. After I saved him and I drive to take him home, the thing freezes on me so I have to do that hard mission AGAIN!!!!! Anyways, to make a long story short, what should I do about this because my Xbox 360 is obviously defective and I can't keep playing on a system that freezes all the time. If I get a new system, won't I lose the memory of my games because there's no memory cards. I certainly don't want to play a long game like GTAIV over again. I don't want to lose my game memory. The thing that is ironic is I bought my Xbox 360 in 2006 and I hardly played it. Now I'm starting to play it a lot and this happens. This is my first problem with any game systems freezing. I have played NES, SNES. N64, PS1, PS2, Xbox and GC and they all worked perfect until this system now.

I'm a beginner at this and this is my first time trying to play online so the question I ask might be stupid. I have very little knowledge on computer specs. Nevertheless, I really need the help. I have a wired connection and I'm trying to connect my Ethernet cable from my Wii Lan Adapter to the modem box on my computer. I have the ethernet cable and I'm trying to look on where to connect it to. I have my modem and on it I see a spot that says Ethernet. I can see the cable I want to use that is connected to my Wii Lan Adapter fits there. The only problem is I already have another Ethernet cable there that goes to my internet. How can I connect my other Ethernet cable from my Wii if there is only one ethernet spot which is taken by the cable that connects to this internet? So my first failed attempt was I disconnected the cable that goes to this internet so I could put the Ethernet cable connected to the Wii there instead. The problem there is I had no internet so I had to unplug the Ethernet cable to my Wii and put the internet one back. So my final question is, how can I connect both if that is what I'm suppose to do? Do I have to get a new modem box that has multiple ethernet plug ins?

Gas costs me more then a video game today which is pretty sad but since I only buy a few games a year, I can afford a game when I want one.
