To me, this is a classic example of 'Everybody Wants Something', they want this and they want that, remember 'haters' to ME3, YOU did ask for homosexual relations, YOU did want the story to be more understandable and simpler than ME2 (not that it was confusing) and YOU did want multiplayer but what did you expect? A Call of Duty-esque experience where you're just running down corridors and gunning people down for a fifty-kill streak? I personally think it is the best in the trilogy, that it captures the feeling of being at war surprisngly well and not in the whole 'Oscar-Mike, dodge fifty mortars' atttitude, but watching how civilians react to the war and the sudden feeling of an imminent attack, it improved on some of my irks from both ME1 and ME2 and yeah, it's not perfect, but when has any game been described as 'perfect'? I understand their approach to listening to fans, I'd give this game a 1.0 if they removed the RPG elements and use a Call of Duty-style storytelling (yeah, I'm ragging on COD), hell I'd even tell Bioware they lost my respect for them, but remember my fellow gamers, we can't ALWAYS get what we want in a game no matter how hard you try, if I had it my way, ME3 would have driveable vehicles and cheesy one-liners but I can't and I am on the fence about the inclusion of MP but if you don't like it, don't touch it, pretend it doesn't even exist on the menu if you like. I admire Bioware's inclusion of homosexual relations, it shows that the industry as a whole is moving forward rather than to the stoneage but for those who have strong negative feelings about that subject, do the rest of us a favor and just keep it to yourself, bad enough we hear it on a day-to-day basis. I respect the views of others, even if I strongly oppose them. In the end, we must remember on thing, it's only a video game and yeah they've evolved into something much bigger than they were over thirty years ago and I for one support games as a form of art but I always remind myself that it is entertainment first and foremost...and maybe a form of escapism. Whether you agree or disagree with my views is your opinion and I'll respect that.
I honestly don't care if GOW2 looks better than the first, both kicked ass, both look gorgeous and both feature the whole 'destroyed beauty' theme and that's fine by me
You guys forgot Squad AI is most shooters, I mean, you're fighting along side highly traied, elite special forces with the baddest equipment ever made and they walk into your fire? And aren't they trained to be silent yet they scream 'Reloading!' Another thing is, they stand in the open while there's an enemy with a machien gun or rocket launcher shooting them (GRAW, we're looking at you)
