Now that the game's out, I can say that while the car handling is not quite as realistic as in GTA IV, it is still quite immersive and still requires a good amount of skill.

OP is wrong. The prologue takes place 9 years before the actual story takes place, not 25 lol.

Yep, I saw... it says at the beginning of the vid "Yankton, 9 years ago"... but 9 years ago, the cop cars should still resemble Crown Vics, shouldn't they?

I have a gut feeling that (as we know) it is the first mission of the game, and it's set 25 years before the events of GTA V and not even in the GTA V world itself. There are no snow-covered peaks visible anywhere in San Andreas and especially on Mount Chiliad, and oh wait, why is the cop car in the leaked video an 80s-era Admiral similar to Vice City?

I'll say 9.7

There hasn't been a score not divisible by .5 since 2007... I'd go with 9.5.

Looks can be deceiving.

GTA IV overlaid - https://twitter.com/iLikeGirlsDaily/status/377444829627564032/photo/1/large

Some context can really be gathered by the known segments overlaid on the map - http://b-i.forbesimg.com/davidthier/files/2013/09/1378822017-9999954.jpg

Tiny thing that bugs me is there is no visible airfield at the very top of the map, we have one at the south, west and east, but not north, so if your in the north and wanting a plane, looks like a bit of a hike.

I saw that, but how do we know the size of the GTA IV map overlay is accurate?

According to http://gamingbolt.com/gta-5-world-map-size-is-49-square-miles-has-a-budget-of-170-million, it is 49 square miles. But my own sleuthing proved otherwise. In this image you see squares that are equivalent to square miles. The size is derived from the legend that is somewhat legible in the bottom-left corner of the leaked photo (you can see the difference between "1000" and "2000" feet on it). As you can tell I designated how much land area is in each square. It totals out to 16 square miles of land. Of course it is worth noting that there is underwater exploration in the game so your exploration potential is in no way limited to these 16 square miles.

Go directly to Black Ops II, don't give MW3 one second of your precious free time. MW3 is a textbook example of how a developer milks a cash cow; Black Ops II has many features that should have been in MW3, read the previews for it, there's plenty of reasons why Treyarch will soon be the leader of COD development, IW just a follower.

Tonight, we close perhaps our darkest chapter in the history of the Call of Duty franchise. For the past year, us Call of Duty fans, regardless of whether or not we called BF3 a proper alternative, bled in disappointment as we searched for alternatives to keep us entertained. Tonight, it's Treyarch's turn to play leader, as we pass the torch on to Black Ops II. The question is, will the Call of Duty name be again respected, or will the stigma remain?
