I have been reading and watching and searching for something that makes people love this game so much, and so far it seems that nothing justifies spending 15 bucks on this, but a huge hysteria fed by gaming sites and a bunch of indie game lovers.

I hated flower, although the premise was interesting, the game was boring as hell. So, if you guys dont mind answering, what made this game a great game for you? The gameplay seems shallow, the game is very short, but some people (not all of them) were praising it like it was the best title of the year.

Could anyone care to explain?

Thank you.

I've tested both Disgaea's, not my style, the "board game" spirit makes me nervous. I guess Im going to grab my SNES and play Chrono Trigger again till those tittles come up!

Well, as a true fan of the Chronno Trigger gameplay style, I've been looking for similar games to my loved PS2.

I've tried all the Atelier Iris series, and I hated it. So much potential, wasted in a big mess of weak battles, no impact at all. Great storyline, charismatic characters, but the game still managed to suck, I really, REALLY hate when they do that.

Oh well, now that I got it off my chest, back to the question: a good 2D RPG for PS2, does it exist????

Please help this old school gamer finding it!
