well, I had always enjoyed games for the playstation and playstation 2 consoles, so I wanted a PS3 to enjoy more great playstation content. Also, I never really liked many of the games for Xbox 360. Even now there are only a couple i want to play.

I do all my shopping at Best Buy since I work there. I also don't have to worry about pre-ordering either. MAN I love my job! I am also looking foward to BF:BC2 over MW2. It is a lot more realistic both graphically and the game mechanics, the maps are way more superior, and the destructible enviornments are just awesome:D. I cant wait til March 2nd! I am getting both games though on their release dates.

What kind of discount do you get on games. I am about to start working for the Toy R Us in Times Square in New York City, and I get a 10% discount, which sucks.
The use of DVD may be an issue. But I do feel they will probably come out the same regardless. I don't own a 360, but it seems to be able to hold its own technically.
Seems this thread is back from the dead. Anyhoo, I also got YLOD on my 60 gig for the first time on the 7th of october. I was playing the uncharted 2 Beta.3 I finally got around to sendin it in on the 17th. I tracked it with UPS as well and it should be here tomorrow, the 26th of october. My COD 4 was stuck in there though. I didn't know about the eject fail safe.I hope i get it back.
I'm pumped for the game. I had fun with R&CF: TOD and from reviews and quicklook video on giantbomb.com, it looks like Insomniac is giving us more of that with some great additions. The game is going to be great.
It was pretty creepy. It can be a bit slow though. Maybe i'm not the right one to tell you how it was though, It was kind of ruined for me because of other people. I would suggest waiting for it to come out on DVD (If it does, since the people that were distributing it were being pretty weird about which theatres and what times the movie would play). Hopefully it does though. Set up a good night for you to watch it and turn out all the lights.
I would like to see a Kingdom Hearts 3 on the next gen consoles. I have a feeling Square is not planning on making one, but hopefully i'm wrong. The PSP kingdom hearts game, Birth By Sleep, looks really promising.
