Restart your system and try to delete the file. Also check the task manager if it's running in the background.

Don't know how to help you with your temps aside from telling you to buy an aftermarket cooler. 45-50c idle seems kinda ridiculous. My 3570k is at 4.5ghz and I'm idling around 25-26c.

And what kind of cooler do you have?

Xigmatek Dark knight.

Judging from this article on hardware secrets you should be idling in the 30s and maxing out in the 50s. Your processor is close enough for this to be comparable. The 860 should actually generate more heat, so you should be getting lower temps. http://www.hardwaresecrets.com/article/Xigmatek-Dark-Knight-CPU-Cooler-Review/1346/6

[QUOTE="kraken2109"][QUOTE="lhughey"]Get a 128g SSD instead. Keep your media on the green drive, but programs, games and apps on the SSD. Don't ever buy a spinning drive for your OS again. :)General_X
128GB is too small.

Especially with 240-256GB SSD's being so affordable these days.

Thirded! 240 is about the min i woudl recommend. look for promotions and sales and you should be able to get a good deal on a decent drive. the performance boost will be worth the wait and the additional cost.

sounds like it could be a squealing capacitor. Could be from the MoBo, GPU, PSU. Try to get in there to see if you can tell which component specifically is making the noise.

[QUOTE="KABCOOL"][QUOTE="darksusperia"][QUOTE="FelipeInside"] Don't use Vaccums in the future, sometimes they cause trouble. Just use an air spray or even thick brush.

Get this, its better then canned air as it has no chance of residue liquid . (I have 2 of them)

Thats pretty damn cool but a little too expensive for me haha.

I was thinking the same thing. It would be nice to own one, but I have an air compressor and dont use enough canned air to make it worth my while. Though i would probably use it all the time if i had one.

Try a different monitor, cable and video output on your Mobo to see if you can figure out where the problem lies.

if you think you can get your essentials on there its a decent deal. I would personally recommend saving up for a 256 though.

My wife has been into macs for the last 15 years. Whenever they fail (usually every 3-4 years) she buys a new one.
