So PSU's aren't my specialty but, my new rig which i just replaced the mobo, video card, and ram is turning off every once in a while on its' own. I've narrowed it down to my 6 year old power supply. Its a 750 watt thermal take tough power with 4 12v rails at 18 amps each. My mobo is a 768 with a gtx 570, and a core i5 2500k. Should I buy a new power supply? If so, can someone research a good power supply thats decent and is NOT more then I need (preferably thermal take as the connectors will be similar to what I have). Thanks!!

So I've been trying for an hour to install this thing.... why do I not see any windows 64 bit support? There are many ppl who claimed to have hacked it yet when I try to understand their instructions they don't make sense/work when I try. Anyone have any suggestions ?

What is "EZ Plug" supposed to do? My old motherboard has a 4pin molex attached to it and my psu had a female that attached to it. On my new motherboard there is no EZ Plug (4 pin molex) on the mobo. Should I just not worry about it? I feel like this could be for voltage for sli but my new mobo doesn't have more then 1 pci express slot now.

The old mobo was about 6 years old. It had the regular 24 pin connector from the psu, as well as a molex connector. Is this just for voltage stability or something? My new mobo doesn't have it so I just left it dangling connected to nothing.

So my old motherboard had a Molex female connector on it and another male connector that came from my power supply attached to it. Why does my new mobo not have a molex attachment? I'm assuming that it doesn't need this connection for some reason, unlike my old motherboard?

Are there cables that exist that spliter one male molex cable (4 pin) into two male molex cables (two sets of 4 pin). I'm not talking about one male to two female either. I'm one molex cable short for my dvd drives to plug into. Also my HDD cable doesn't reach the new location for my new mobo because it's too far away, so does a HDD cable extender exist as well? If you guys can find any give me the link please!

are there any wireless gaming mice and keyboards that don't have ridiculous design or lighting?

MuD3
Just get a wired keyboard and mouse.... ur gonna have possibly some slight lag in games with wireless. Most pc gamers do not go with wireless. Unless your far away from your computer what's the point?

XP is installed on my hard drive right now but I'm about to change the motherboard (along with the video card and ram of course). I purchased windows 7 OEM just in case xp didn't boot up (so I can just wipe the hard drives if need be and start from scratch). Do I have to wipe my hard drives or can I just insert the disc and install?

I had the GTX 570 HD Superclocked but was hitting VRAM limits often in games like BF3. Sold the 570 and bought a 6970 (HIS ICEQ Turbo) and overclocked it to 950-GPU 1450-Memory.This is the limit that the 6970 can usually reach before having to mess with the voltage. I ran benchmarks on both cards and the performance was identical.

I just don't really like what I'm reading about the AMD drivers. The cards have better clock speeds then nvidia's but nvidia cards can overclock better from what I hear. Either way I'm sure both the 570 and 6970 serve their purposes well.
