@Dsolow5 The AdBlock issue has been acknowledged by GameSpot staff, and is an unintentional result of the transition to the new site. There is a temporary fix outlined in the following forum topic, while the code is currently in the works to be resolved for all users.

Fantastic, it's great to see the new layout up and beginning to integrate into the rest of the site.

Intriguing promotion. Hopefully whoever wins is a broadcaster/YouTuber so they can share their early experience with the rest of luckless dreamers.

@CarbonByGravity @MuddyMaestro You are incorrect by bluntly stating that news of the Kickstarter reached its intended audience. There was no news about the Kickstarter prior to it being postponed on the vast majority of relevant gaming sites, including GameSpot, IGN, GameTrailers, 1Up, GiantBomb, and many others.

It is also rather bold to outright state that no one wants another car combat game. Twisted Metal actually sold considerably well, and was well received by critics. The primary reason why it many consider it to have flopped was due to network issues which Sony never resolved that made the online a frustrating experience.

It's unfortunate the Kickstarter being postponed, and I believe that the insufficient funding didn't originate from a lack of interest or support, but it simply wasn't able to reach the ears of many of the players that would take an interest in the game. When the Kickstarter started up, there were very few (if any) major gaming sites that took up the story, but the game has been a real buzz in many underground communities in the car combat genre (coming from someone who still plays Twisted Metal 2012 on a daily basis). The devs have been very proactive in their presence in these smaller communities, but the game ultimately will need mainstream support in order to reach its aspired goals. Although I can't say for certain that it will be able to reach a goal set as high as 650k, I can guarantee you that if news of the game reaches its intended audience (especially considering the Kickstarter rewards were quite generous), it'll get the funding that it needs for the project to follow through.
