I'd have to say the Paper Mario series, as the plot and characters in these games were both innovating and fresh. Many of the Mario RPGs in particular seem to have broader storylines, from what I've seen.

Super Mario Galaxy was also good in terms of graphics, gameplay, and an overall unique concept that was mixed with your generic Mario storyline (aka "Bowser kidnaps Peach... but this time, in space"). I also loved the scenery throughout and the creative boss battles. Both Galaxy installments seemed to be successful due to this.

I also like the New Super Mario Bros. franchise, in part because they're fun, entertaining, and great multiplayer. :)

Regulations should certainly be applied to gun ownership. While there are those that use guns simply as a means of self-defense, many, and I mean many, abuse these priveleges. (See here) Despite the background checks and registration that purchasers require, there are often times when firearms fall into the wrong hands. Granted, not all crimes would be prevented, but applying these restrictions would likely prevent many possible scenarios.

Uh,you guys realise they won't make Galaxy 3?

Meh, doesn't hurt to dream. They'll probably work on a similar game in a different franchise, like what they did with the transition from "Sunshine" to "Galaxy". (Though they've already done that with "3D Land".)

You're on a website that has a weath of gaming information, a Wii U specific section at the top toolbar with links to every bit of information you could ever want to know about the Wii U, and you found it easier to create an account, activate it, find the forum, and ask that question instead of just clicking the Wii U section and seeing it? :P

Yeah, I guess that was rather obvious. Thanks for the heads up anyways.
