Ugh. Thanks for the response. Really too bad about all of this "upgrading", it's a mess. But I suppose you know that by now. Buh-BYE, GS... It's been fun.

This is just deplorable... Is there any way back to the old version of GS? Forums are a mess, no Legacy... PLEASE, for the love of GAMING... Bring back the old format. I've been a member of this site forever, but the new format has completely alienated me.

Very unhappy with where you've taken the site, folks... Damned shame.

The shadows and raindrops are horrible but other than that the game was overall really good and the handling was good as well. I think the jagged edges are there to stay I'm afraid but the interiors are awesome. I love the rear seat view as well. Can't complain. RimacBugatti

TC was talking about "Grand Theft Auto V" (gta 5), not "Gran Turismo 5"...

... You didn't address TC's question, either...

... Reading Comprehension: It's Faaaaan-TASTIC!

Nope. Still TONS of life (and games to play through) on my PS3... I wait for all the inevitable hardware malfunctions, redesigns, and price drops to happen. Plus, I want to see where all of the used game nonsense and online faulderrall settles... There are still WAY too many variables behind the curtain, and nothing on the next-gen that I feel an overwhelming desire to play...

Two of the best Godzilla games ever are on the system... So, yes.

Use an HDMI cable, but don't expect things to be magically perfect - Those component (EDIT: I meant to say 'composite') cables the machine comes with allow a maximum resolution of 480p so you will see a fairly significant reduction in edge if you go to a proper HDMI... But Remember: It's a video game, after all, and made up of polygonal constructs. Also, most games run at 720p, there are a FEW which run 1080p, but not many. So there will always be SOME "jaggies".

Try backing up from your TV a bit, that will help your perceptions, as well.

PS - Don't double-post your stuff, it's a no-no around here, and a mod might slap you for doing it.

I just purchased a converter I needed to use my Turtle Beaches X11 on my PS3 so I can speak with friends and family while playing GTA Online this week. I also make youtube videos so having the voice output through my tv is something that would be awesome if possible. Does anyone know if I can have voice chat output through my headset AND the tv at the same time?

I think it depends largely on the title... For instance, I know it can be done on CoD, but that it's a game option as apposed to a PS3 setting... Have you looked under "Sound Otions" and/or "Accessory Options" in the XMB?

[QUOTE="arkephonic"]

Just came across this stuff in the wild yesterday for a cheap price.

vnin.jpg

The WaveBird was only $10, SNES games were $3 a piece and Champions of Norrath was only $1.  I usually don't buy disc only games but it's a game I've actually been really wanting to play with my girlfriend so I decided to just get it.

I am really jealous of your WaveBird controller , I am looking for one right now and it's hard to find where I live , and you got it at a amazing price ughhh ..... lucky you

That Wavebird is CLEEEAAAN!!! WOW! You SCORED, there... I have four of 'em, but they don't look that good...

:P

... Wish they had rumble/feedback in 'em, that would make them the perfect controller of that gen. LogiTech wins that award for the finest PS2 controller...

I can always get into a game or two ... Or 50 ... Of "Golden Axe 2" or "Golden Axe 3" (I like the controls and combos better in 2 & 3, than I do in the first game).

I always see this game but never brought it. I heard good things about it though but what do you think of it? It costs about $19.99 at the store I see it at.

ABSOLUTELY worth a 20... "BGE" is another one of those games I consider to be PERFECT. It will make you laugh, it will bring a lump to your throat... It is simply one of the best games EVER to be MADE. Seriously, I would never (intentionally) steer you wrong. You might be able to find it cheaper online, or whatever, but $20 for that game, even today, is a great price for what you will get out of it.

;)
