@dvdjedi: even so, people are expecting too much from the "next gen" hardware... i know that these titles are "denser" in detail, have more features, more npcs, etc., but the hardware has its capabilities and rendering so many features with the ai of the npcs with which you can interact, non-interaction npcs, global illumination, this and that, slows the fps if one chooses "high fidelity" option...
i am ok with 60 fps @ 1440p, or variable resolution... what i wanted to emphasize is that people tend to get carried away and claim that one platform is "soooo much better than any other", which is just preference at this point (ok, if you do not shell out a couple of thousand dollars for a killer gaming pc)... :)
@XBgyManX: well, how many open world games on pc can do that??? it's only possible with the release of rtx 3080 (which sells for 600 usd, if you can find one), and i think you are expecting way too much from a 400 usd priced system...
let's be realistic and not thrash on new hardware (may it be ps or xbox) which does not meet some people's astronomical expectations... :D
it pains me to say this, but that is the only reason i haven't bought tlou 2 and ghosts of tsushima... i had to buy tlou twice for ps3 and ps4, i do not want to do that again...
well, if these drives have sufficient priority levels (six, if i remember correctly) then these could be used in a ps5... only speed will not be enough...
as if these kinds of balance changes aren't being made to make people use the full arsenal at hand, it's ar one season, smg another, shotguns another, and that's the way it goes until the next game, and the next, and the next...
