So what do you do on new graphically advanced titles releasing now and in the future? You trying to tell me you can achieve 144 fps in Witcher 3 on any respectable resolution? I can't stand people that become fps snobs because they bought a shitty 144hz TN 1080p panel...

You are going to miss out on a LOT of upcoming titles if you wont play at under 144fps, because the hardware to run them at these speeds doesn't exist.

It seems alright, but I'm turned off from the lack of VESA, and no DVI input, VGA only.

A must buy for me, great news. I hope there's a lot of new weapons to find too.

Yeah this is true, but being on a site like Gamespot, surely op would like to enjoy some nice gaming performance as well?

How does that card do with video editing in Premiere etc? Just doesn't seem right to buy a 1gb card in 2014

@xXCombatWombat:

In that case case, you would do well to get a more powerful gpu down the line sometime. It will greatly enhance the experience. It's no fun waiting for photoshop to render an image for 30 seconds.

I love 1440p , the only thing that is a little irritating is the text can be hard to read because it is pretty small on certain games at that resolution (Looking at you EU4). I just use a 1080 monitor for games that don't have UI scaling. I have the Qnix Korean IPS 1440p monitor overclocked to 100HZ, and the image quality is stunning. I push it with a single 780ti pretty easily so far. It's a very solid performer for the cost.

I don't know what that application is, but have you scanned your computer for malware? I suggest Malware bytes if you don't have it, it does a good job. I run this along with Microsoft Security Essentials and they have never let me down.

You just can't go wrong with the Qnix 27" 2560X1440 120hz+ Overclockable monitors. Bare bones, no fluff or extras, but the absolute best quality/price ratio. Sure there are better WQHD panels, but they are all $600+
