Remember seeing a rumor ill about franchises that needed a revival for next gen. Blood Omen 2 didn't do so well in sales last gen, not did Defiance.

Skipping this gen would mean they are ready to go back to the beginning instead of making a sequel. We need a game like this but I hope the story stays strong.

After seeing their recent loss, I'm starting to think that maybe they might have a short generation with the Wii 2.

The graphics for that machine matches that of the current generation, so this means no real third party advantage. No one wants to play COD with a tablet controller either. Seems to me Nintendo is still out of touch with the market and have been declining because of it.

Now let's assume they were in touch with the market, would it not be more beneficial to scrap the gimmick hardware and develop games strictly as a third party?

What do nintendo fans have to lose with going third party and saving cash?

Its too late for nintendo to backpedal after they have neglected their previous bread and butter market.

The current xbox 360 and ps3 gamers were formerly nintendo gamers who used to have a steady stream of third party games to play back on the snes and n64.

As soon as they stopped competing in the third party department, they assumed people would still buy their systems for the first party games.

Now they realised it is time to catch up to high definition when it has already been too late. By the time the next xbox and playstation releases, Nintendo will become a third party company.

Anyone :(

Best bet in these cases is to google the lyrics, but this is just a few strains of instrumenta/electronica. I honestly don't know that it IS a song, or if it's some stock music made by the BBC to play on sports bits. I mean, anyone with a synthesizer could do that, so why pay royalties to a group?

The thing is I know its a dubstep remix of a famous house song which i dont know the name of. Later on in the video they have other licensed songs. Pretty sure its record labels

Hello Folks,

Not sure if there is a thread like this, but have you ever stumbled on a video where you cannot identify a song. How about this one:

Any other suggestionsÉ

KoTOR was a fantastic game (though the second one is still better), but WoW beats the pants off of it in terms of influence.

I didn't like the second game as much, very boring. Wow is not the same genre so it's not a fair comparison.

The most influential rpg of last generation was by far World of WarcraftDiviniuz
That's an MMO. It's a different genre. It re defined mmos.

I was reading up on a potential Kotor sequel and wondered what it would be like if we had a similar experience this generation.

Now let's talk about influence. I'm not saying KOTOR was the first game to pull off decision making story progression, what I'm saying is that it was the first game to do it flawlessly. Reading up on comments on youtube, almost everybody agrees the story was so good that you wish you could erase your memory to play it again. That's how immersive it was.

I also played other great rpgs from last generation, such as Final Fantasy X. Even that was amazing but it didn't influence anything. It still had elements that made other FFs great but did not really influence the same way. Fable was supposed to be the first game to reinforce this concept yet KOTOR did it first. Now the iconic Diablo franchise is also following the same footsteps that KOTOR established seven years ago.

I know some folks will say WOW is the most influential rpg of last gen but it's not really the same genre and not really part of the last generation cycle either. PC games have their own cycles. The ironic part is that KOTOR was influenced by WOW, only when they decided to go MMO.
