People keep throwing yearly salaries like $75k/yr out there as a possible cost - but it seems these people had full-time jobs doing other stuff, so they were working on this during weekends or something? Even if they put in a 10hr work day both Saturday & Sunday that's only a 20hr work week. If that was the plan - for it to be contract work with a lump payment & no "salary" - then it's a moot point what they were being paid.
They must have had a plan about what to spend the money on - the claim that they ran out even with a double budget sounds like crap. Loosing $35k should be small potatoes when you have $250k extra money than was in the original budget. With $500k gone & no product, I tend to be suspicious of everything they say. Why not get the authorities involved?
This video is correct. When $500,000 goes missing, it is NOT acceptable to just make assumptions about where it went, it needs to be accounted for. They owe their fans answers (and money).

As for examples, pretty mush every article on this topic has numerous examples within it. Off the top of my head, the artist for Dragon's Crown being bullied into apologizing for his art designs is a good one. Creators should not be harassed into apologizing. That's taking censorship to the next level of nuts.
Real activists try to help real people with real problems. Art is not a problem. Abuse is, and it gets swept under the rug way too much.
@youre_a_sheep I couldn't agree more. Yep, one of the favorite lies of these fem justice frauds is that they want to make gaming more "inclusive". They use this lie because it makes them seem like selfless heroes, but they don't want games to be more inclusive, they want games to appeal only to themselves.
Wanting games they like by itself is fine, but their methods are horrible. They are willing to use any kind of manipulation. Guilt, bullying, shaming, harassment, whatever it takes to have their way. And they've thrown the real victims under the bus in the process. There is nothing wrong with sex or violence in games. There is nothing wrong with liking sexual characters or violence in games, aside from the fact that THEY don't also like it.
True inclusiveness is in more danger from them than anyone else, thanks largely to the backlash they always inspire (which often turns really ugly).
@nigelholden @Marz10 I feel that you are right, my friend. 12year-olds certainly seem to be the perfect anti-matter for those frauds. If only we could all ignore them and help members of our community that actually could use it.
Until then, whenever a female gamer or creator is in trouble there will be a blanket of suspicion that they are just a drama queen looking for publicity, and there will be a default attitude of hostility thanks to these social justice clowns (and their tiny child oppressors).
Yeah, abuse is a terrible thing that needs to be addressed & the biggest thing standing in the way are these fem activist morons who complain every time there is a pair of titties in a game.
That's the thing that confuses the serious 'abuse' topic with the vapid 'social justice' topic. When someone comes along and starts complaining that Princess Peach or (lol) Samus isn't "strong enough", they really mean that those characters don't appeal to THEM and THEM alone. They shouldn't be trying to guilt trip the entire community into accepting their particular tastes by pretending that they are important social warriors on some sort of quest. And they shouldn't be trying to shame fans and creators and shoving their own pov down everyone's throats. What right do they have to harass creators who put characters like Quiet into their games? If it doesn't appeal to you - and I know this might seem harsh to someone used to getting their own way - that's too bad. Your opinion is worth no more or less than the millions of other fans. Stop being so self important and vote with your wallet like everyone else. Stop distracting everyone away from the important topic of real people suffering. Thanks.
