What are some of your perfect games of all time? Games that keep on giving, have awesome replayabilty, GOOD PROGRAMMING, sound, music, atmosphere, game world.
Some of mine would be: Megaman 3, Chrono Trigger, Streets of Rage 2, Garou: Mark of the Wolves. Not too many 128bit+ since more power = more can go wrong.
Oh, I would put Heroes of Might & Magic III on there too.
Sorry I wasn't trying to hijack your thread earlier, I just didn't see it on the main page.
For me it is definitely Forza Horizon 4, everything the game does it hits me right where I need it.
The only part of it that stops it from being a "perfect game" is that it's online structure seems kinda "off"? Like sometimes it will say I can't join a session that I didn't even try to join, but that's just a small qualm since I have no problem being able to race with my buddies when I want to.
FYI - a perfect game to me is one that feels "Completely complete", like Megaman 3, or Street Fighter II or Chrono Trigger.
What game(s) have made you actually change your purchase methods because it was so abysmal or anti-consumer.
For me it was Mass Effect: Andromeda, after the dumpster fire that it was, I promised myself I would never purchase another game until I had read multiple critic and user reviews. So far this has paid off or I would have been bludgeoned by FO76 and Darksiders III.
For me it's Forza Horizon 4, which surprised me since a racer has never been in contention, but this one has all the bells and whistles. I should note that I have yet to put in enough time into God of War or RDR2 otherwise I am sure they would be in contention. FH4 is like the game that keeps giving and I suggest all Xbox and/or PC owners add it to their collection. A truly special game.
