Microsoft needs to step it up with actual exclusives. Rather than stealing exclusives for 6 months to a year they should publish their own like Sony and Nintendo. Seriously how long can the buy timed exclusivity.

exclusives matter because they create competitiveness. think about it. if there were no exclusives there would be only one system with crappy games.

Final Fantasy. Duh. Fallout 1 and 2 were great but they aren't really RPGs. They were more of a point and click Diablo. RPG stands for Role-Playing Game. You play the role of someone in the FF series, in fallout you play who ever YOU wanna be. Also Final Fanyasy is beeter due to it's ability to have a good ending to a story. Unlike fallout 3. *Ahem*

Im sorry but i dont care for the conduit because WII games have fooled people before by looking good (Red Steel, Dragon Quest, DBZ Budukai Tenkaichi{come on ppl this was this ultamite gimmick fighting game}, COD3, Farcry, skate it, WII MUSIC, samba diammigo, and i could go on.) When you can't mention at least 10 games your looking forward to for a system there's trouble.

when you hype up motion sensing controls and dont even implement them into your first party games well there's a problem. Ex. Twilight Princess i could play sitting down, swinging a wii mote horizontally isnt hard people, Super Mario Galaxy i could play LAYING DOWN and did, Smash bros didnt even attempt as far as im concerned[ shake smashes were a cheap gimmick]

when no more heros is the only honourable mention coming from at third party u know people arent even trying anymore

Erebyssial

1) Out of all those games you listed, most weren't hyped at all and never looked good. Every system has games that end up a disappointment, so why is The Conduit singled out as a game that you think will end up crap? The previews have been very positive and HVS is a dedicated developer for Wii. You may not be able to mention 10 games to look foward to, but alot of people can as the Wii is looking great for 09.

2) Lol, since when do you need to stand up for good motion controls? Twilight Princess had tacked on waggle because it was a port and Smash Bros is a fighting game.

3) There's quite a few good third party Wii games, and alot that surpass an "honorable mention". It's clear you haven't done much research.

remember when this happened? :http://www.edge-online.com/news/japan-ps3-outsells-wii-november

and in 2008 http://www.ps3fanboy.com/2008/06/19/third-times-the-charm-ps3-outsells-wii-for-the-third-time/

and as for me not being able to name 10 games to look forward to, why didn't you...

and thanks for naming these good third party games on the wii..., even you said there was only a few good games

and as for my reasearch i dont even see an example coming from you

way to back yourself up man...

Wii would not win based on great single player games guys, the only reason the wii is "dominating is because of the price tag and parents buying it for liitle kids.

really how many people over the age of 18 bought a wii and werent parents?

PS3 FTW

surrealnumber5

360 is cheaper

yeah if u wanna play just arcade games with ur 256 MB memory

i'll enjoy my fallout 3 with it's 5GBs of well spent spacee thanks

Well i'm gonna go out and say it. I SOLD MY WII AND IM HAPPY ABOUT IT. people im gonna take you through some marketing things here. 1. Looking forward to 5 games a years is not a good plan to hype up a system. 2. when you hype up motion sensing controls and dont even implement them into your first party games well there's a problem. Ex. Twilight Princess i could play sitting down, swinging a wii mote horizontally isnt hard people, Super Mario Galaxy i could play LAYING DOWN and did, Smash bros didnt even attempt as far as im concerned[ shake smashes were a cheap gimmick]. 3. when your premeir games have less features than mediocore third party games. IE smash bros having crappy online while samba diammigo has you being able to buy music? WTF BigN? when mario kart comes out a month after SSB with better online YOU KNOW THERES A PROBLEM.

Others things to consider: SSB comes out before all of the characters in the game have a wii release? umm ok that's not a grab for people's money at all.... *cough cough*

when no more heros is the only honourable mention coming from at third party u know people arent even trying anymore. and yes every system has shovelware but the wii has the most out of all of them and i dont think anyone from either side of this arguement can deny that. the only reason that we dont really notice shovelware on the other systems is because instead of going "well that game i bought was crap i'll return it for my money back, sigh, i have all of the good wii games so i guess it's back to waiting for madworld again" we're going "well that game i bought was crap i'll return it for money and use that money for a game like fallout 3 or resistance 2 or GTA4 or COD WAW or Gears2 or dead space or left 4 dead etc, etc."

and as for losing money by selling your wii for a PS3 or XBOX360, you lost around 300 dollars on a system that you spend 6-8 hours a week using, i dont care if the others are more expensive thats 300 bones that im not getting out of the wii people

Im gonna say this once: I should'nt have to put on a snorkel to wade through crap in order to find a gem, cause in the in yeah you have your gem but was it worth going through crap to get it?

I'd give more credability to GS. X-Play now rates 2 games a show if even that and unlike GS, X-Play does not have reviews done by the general public. Another thing whith those 2 games per show that X-Play rates it's usually either an XBoX exclusive or the xbox version of the game. All those trying to defend X-Play's obvious bias listen up. When they rave about the XBOX online experience the full week after E3 and when it comes out, that's bias. When they ignore any Ps3 downloadable content that's bias. There is another list of really obvious things on that show. And for the record it's not people whining about games not being rated the way people want that makes X-Play Bias.

Another example to prove X-Play's Bias by the way. Watch a show called Reviews on the Run. Notice the NON BIAS REVIEWS, the inclusion of MULTIPLE SYSTEMS, and the stating of ALL PLATFORMS THE GAME THEIR REVIEWING IS ON instead of just pointing out that the game is on the 360.
