PC is the clear winner as usual but between the X1 & PS4, I'm shocked to say the X1 looks better, when normally the PS4 has looked better in most games so far. The colors and overall graphics just look washed out.
You all seem to be forgetting that AC: Black Flag launched at 900p / 30fps on the PS4 and had to be patched after the fact.
All in all, how do you know that Ubisoft isn't using this whole "the console's CPU is limiting us" bit as an excuse for the fact that they couldn't figure out a way to render the A.I. at a higher resolution without the loss of frame rate. It wouldn't at all surprise me if the game gets buggy in large crowds of A.I. as-is.
This is a disappointment. When I saw the first few trailers, it captured my imagination and gripped me emotionally, it felt as though we were about to embark on a wonderful journey, but this just misses it's mark all together =(
@psycadelix Hmm. I guess it's not a bad thing but it still would've been nice to have to deal with facehuggers, to me they are just as bad (if not worse) as an adult xeno. Hopefully they make a sequel to this game where a nest is involved. I understand they are trying to keep it Ripley related but I would buy an original story with a new character if it meant they work out the bugs from this game and make it better.
So I have a question: Are the only enemies you deal with in the game 1 xenomorph and a bunch of a-wall androids? What about destroying eggs or fending off facehuggers?
@sonyonly4 They're the same. The PC is almost unnoticeabley better but the X1 & PS4 have the exact same graphics. This is one of the few video I've seen where PS4 is not a clear winner.
High School LAN parties in the computer lab, despite the fact that the principal explicitly said no gaming consoles on school grounds, just my buddies and I duking it out every afternoon... ahhh those were the days =)
