I've harbored an irrational love for Heavy Rain ever since Quantic Dream showed off that all sorts of rad tech demo at E3 2006. I've watched that thing at least a dozen times at this point, and get the same gut-tingling anxiety each time. I think it's mostly just an appreciation for how well that scene is paced, and I'm really hoping that sense of timing and tension translate into the actual game. That, and I hell of <3 movies, which it basically is in that form.

I always have a hard time bagging on a game when the developers are trying something risky (hooray for not being a reviewer!). I mean, I highly doubt this game will sell well at all--if it breaks 500,000 worldwide, I'd be shocked--regardless of whether it scores top markets or not. People just don't dish out for these types of games, as a rule. But it makes me happy when someone is willing to invest scads of money into a narrative-driven gameplay, especially if they're good at their jobs and know how to tell a compelling story.

As for MAG? Yeah, whatevs.

Is not giving a damn the same as being "anti-Natal"?DarkCatalyst

I'm with this guy. Not giving a damn, by and large, is the way to go, in any given situation, all the time.

Although, I would give a damn if Microsoft were to put pressure on developers to implement Natal functionality into games where it is clearly an abomination against the laws of god and man. For instance, anyone thinking of trying to shoehorn Natal functionality into a shooter should themselves be shot...with a paintball gun, in the, umm...armpit. As such, Cliff, you're safe. That Natal demo using Burnout Paradise? You know, this one? Yeah, painball gun.
