Mark Walton is wrong in one thing, 4K resolution is a half-way solution. The real big thing will come in 2020 to comercial markets with 8K resolution screens.
Offcource very expecive at the start, but the 8K resolution is a sharp as the eye can see. This is the future, maybe combined with 3D, virtual reality, holographics images... ;-D
For the other part, the 8K resolution realy contributed to the whole experience. Can't wait to buy such a TV. I already have a deal with my girlfirend, I bougt my 65" Panasonic TV in 2012, in 2022 I can buy my 90" 8K TV! (What a deal!)
EDF 2017 was and is a really lovely game. It feels so arcade that it's cool, even with the lack of good graphics. EFD Insect Armageddon was a no brainer for me to buy, but stil didn't furfill the expectations.
I hope EDF 2025 is like EDF 2017 only with better graphics. And not that much like EDF IA. Ouch, I already notice some insane lag while shooting a lot of enemy's...
I hope they make the gamplay more like EDF 2017 instead of the EDF Insect Armageddon. The search for weapons, and the insane type of weapons in EDF 2017 where way more cool.
The pace of EDF IA seemt also a little lower than the more arcade like EDF 2017
At the start they alway have to win back their investment, so that's a bullocks statement from Don Mattrick.
But Iam a Xbox Fanboy (sorry guys) and I love Xbox. Already preorderd 'one'. ;-)
I think their won't be that many differences at the end of the line. Sony is smart, they tell you things and everybody instantly believes. But when publishers want DRM, Sony will accept their choice.
Everybody have to know for themselfs witch console they pick, but believe me, in the end things are always different then they look now. :-)
I think that things will change a lot after a while. Sony is a very smart marketeer, and Microsoft didn't do that good of a job in communicating.
Sony also has DRM, but they only say they haven't. Microsoft say it has, and it's up to the publishers if they activate this. Sony practicly said the same, only they say the don't support it. ;-D
As alway we just have to wait till someone get their fist hands-on impression. What i really notice is that it was always a really big issue to PS-fan's that M$ let their community pay for online gaming, now it happens to them, it isn't a issue anymore, and they are happy to pay for good service... :-S Whahahah
