Xbox (and PC) fans shouldn't trip over this. It's just filler content. At best it'll possibly tease the next AC game. I'd be more upset if it were missions that were played during AC IV's campaign. It's basically just an epilogue.

@bagmup lol one would think so but they keep buying up all of these game exclusives from 3rd parties making it harder for other systems to get in on things. So what they don't have in exclusive IPs they buy in exclusive DLC and rights to publish for their system first lol That's why I figure they'll find a way to buy themselves out of this hole. Their money tends to be very long and influential.

That is seriously crazy. I don't know if that would mean the end of the Microsoft gaming industry (I honestly don't think it will), but if this ruling is passed that's going to be a hell of a blow to video gaming overall. I'm pretty shocked Microsoft let this get that far to begin with. Hopefully XBox users and developers will be spared having to deal with the fallout if they decide to ban importing the system. Geesh.

Looks like Sony's poor marketing and business practices are catching up with them. Sony definitely has some great products, but they tend to back the worst of their product and don't support their best ones the way they should. Worse yet, they aren't consumer friendly from a pricing point. PS3 didn't have issues catching on because it was bad, it was overpriced and not supported the way it should be. For years Sony has been reliant on their name drawing people in; now it looks like that name isn't as revered as it once was. Time to come stronger, Sony, I don't want to miss out on my PS4 because you end up tanking yourselves completely LOL

@warhawk-geeby lol I think people just take offense because they think anything that's not praise for their brand is a slap in the face. I personally don't think he was dissing anybody; he was just giving his opinion as far as how he sees the landscape of what certain system gamers play more than not.

I know people are going to hate but you have to argue that he has a valid point. If you take a look at the landscape of games played you'll realize that certain game types just always sell better on certain systems. Now, I can't say it's because PS3 fans necessarily appreciate them more (in that opinion I think he's wrong), but speaking from experience and what I know of people I know who own one, two, or all three systems, they tend to play certain types of games for each of them, and the companies themselves tend to prove him right by the way they market certain titles and genres. Microsoft pushes action and multiplayer hard; Nintendo promotes family orientated and casual games more; Sony is the model of schizophrenia LOL they're all over the map with the type of games they promote. There's nothing wrong with either approach because at the end of the day, all have something for everybody, but it's clear they push what their idea is of the type of gamers they cater too. For some reason dude just seems to think PS3 owners are beatniks LOL

Clearly Bandai doesn't overblow their development budgets. I remember an article with Randy Pitchford saying how a lot of triple A games can cost 40-60mil, but if you break that down by dividing what we spend (usually $60) on the games, a little under 700K to 1mil copies would cover that and put a little profit to it. So when you see even some of these huge games sell a 1-2mil only don't think that the company is feeling the crunch, they're pockets just aren't as phat as they'd like them to be. I haven'd played Dark Souls but it's clear that enough people thought it was a good game else they wouldn't have bought it, and I think that's the biggest point developers miss: so long as your product is quality it will sell. I honestly have a hard time buying their complaints anyway; what with how quickly we jump on the bandwagon by pre-ordering games these days they just about have gauranteed money all the time, no matter how bad people react to the game after it's release *cough Call of Duty cough* LOL
