Glad to see another one of Kevin's reviews, he's one of the best.
@anime-2k3: Even Massive Chalice had Early Access for the public which is never good.
There's also Spacebase DF-9, which they just left in alpha stage and had removed the early access label. Also did a quick look-up, Tim Schafer wasn't the project lead on MC, so that might be the reason it was a success. (lol)
Many long awaited titles next year. I'm really stoked for Andromeda and ME: Catalyst. There will be no shortage on games, that's for sure.
Also, is anyone even still hyped for PS3 ported Last Guardian?
Honestly didn't expect Fallout 4 to rank in top three sales.
I had no idea the development for Bayonetta was that rough. Glad it paid off in a big way!
I think Afro Samurai had the worst time of them all. Pulling your game and on top of that refunding your sales must be both a hit in consumer trust and financials. I liked the first one, so not sure what went wrong.
He's worked for some big publishers/studio's before, he probably found something better. I'm still really hyped for Andromeda, most anticipated game for next year!
I own this game on PS4 but the combat really keeps me from playing it. More than decent art-style though, which is probably why it sold.
I can't believe people are still giving these guys money after Broken Age. They could only make half of BA with the funds they requested last time, which is absolutely ridiculous. They also got dropped by endless-money-well Activision because they couldn't stay on budget. Lately they've only been doing remasters and are again trying to cash in on nostalgia with this.
I'm sure they're good developers, but maybe they should go back to publishers, at least they can control funds or give extra instead of duping the consumers.
Didn't expect Xenoblade to be ahead of SMM. Guess I should check it out sometime.
