Since you have the drivers installed, and as others have mentioned you have a laptop whose native resolution is 1600x900, that means that you SHOULD be running that resolution on both games and the desktop. If you absolutely must run 1366 and stretch it accross the screen (and make text blurry) then you will have to change the resolution manually both for the desktop and in the video options of each game you play.

Nope, because even when I watch YT Videos in 1080p it's more like 640p :)

Hey, My usual screen resolution is 1336.... and after re-installing windows 1336 seems to be small (even for games) and I gotta use the biggest which is 1600 , which causes me to lag. I;ve updated the latest drivers. I have 2 display adapters, Gforce GT 540M and Intel HD 3000. I want 1336 to be my screen reso and to fit the whole screen. Thanks upfront.

The sky is almost the limit with that kind of budget, a macbook pro would suite perfectly for leisurely work and convenience, and you could get an alienware (yes, a gaming PC, we are on a gaming website after all, might as well give you the option) the specifics on those things are perfect for gaming and work/streaming videos/all the leisurely things a household man/woman can do, look at reviews on numerous websites, we can only send you in that direction, apart from price, they are the only other good indicator as to what hardware you should aquire.

I Saw the pricing, they're like 1.9k for good ones, the dell one is a lot better for that pricing. I want a gaming, and I don't realyl see an Apple laptop being good for it overall, it's over-priced anyway.

Hey, I am going to the US in june and would be buying a new laptop as my current one sucks (Toshiba Satellite - WORST MISTAKE). I have a budget of around $1.3k-$1.4k (USD). I was thinking buying the laptop from Bestbuy maybe or so.... Which laptop would you recommend? I am a gamer and play the latest games (BF3/MW3/BF4/CRYSIS etc). Highly Appreciated!

Hey, I bought a laptop, it has great specs and should be able to play games in good settings, I have friends who have a bit worse laptops and they can play with a lot better settings that I can. Toshiba Satellite P7700-108 Intel Core i7-2630QM CPU 2.00GHz 2.00 GHz 4GB RAM NVIDIA GeForce GT 540M I am not sure what is causing the lag, my whole laptop is slow. Thanks a lot!
