I'm getting this amusing picture of Policemen knocking down a door and shouting "Hands where we can see them!"

It's tagged with 'Satire' and the e-mail is a gmail address...

Seems legit.

I would have thought it just means we're going to see fewer PhysX enabled games.

Probably £1000 (Around US$1600, conversion fans) spread over several years...maybe more.

The problem with any attempt at humour or satire is that it can backfire or hit the wrong note. Maybe GTAV does it well, maybe it lays it on a little too thick. Maybe the social commentary just doesn't get through.

These days games aren't just about the action - the plot is a critical component of the game. And even if you disregard the misogyny criticism, I would also knock a game down for having characters that lack consistency in their actions.

Well, with many games limited by their console release, the beefier textures and resolution on the PC versions can only push GPUs so far.

My 7970 is still going strong, and probably will do for at least another two years when hopefully the new console generation games work their way through the pipeline.

Even taking that out of the equation, there's still the law of diminishing returns - eventually the gains will be harder to achieve compared to previous iterations.

I generally like my Z580, but the one complaint I have is the dubious sensitivity of the trackpad - a tap that clicks sometimes...well...at other times, won't.

Aside from that, you get a good set of features for the price compared to its competitors.

My 920 is still holding in there...although my system was struggling with one portion of SR4 yesterday (turned it down to 'High'...problem solved).

With a beefier graphics card and some overclocking, you'll be fine. An SSD would just be icing on the cake.

Looks alot better than DA2 that's for sure.

GD1551

And the sceptic in me says that it looks more like a Third-Person action game than anything else, especially with all that dodging around.

You have to assume that America will get all the hate because it costs way more and comes with drones nobody wants. America is all about TV wars.

In the UK Scan generally has better prices than ebuyer, but less convenient delivery options.
