And this is why they don't announce anything. People get their hopes up prematurely and then crash.

I was disappointed when they announced the new PSP that they didn't include the second stick. It was a pretty obvious upgrade that would make it easier for them to release classic games without having to retool the controls.

Companies hesitate to say "This is true" because if it ends up being false, they have to listen to people say "But you told us it was true!" If they instead say "We think it's true, but we're not sure" then people still read it as "This is true." If they don't say anything, then the response will be "They don't tell us anything."

I think people need to chill out and realize that companies want to give us what we want, but they don't want to dig themselves into a hole and overcommit to something that they can't be sure of.

It would be nice if the XMB was available in games, and it will most likely happen. I'm sure there are issues that need to be worked out and I'd rather have a feature that has gone through the QA wringerinstead ofbeing half-assed.
