>The sweetest Yeah. Your new nickname is "Sweetieookums"

>Helios He was pretty weak. Even the Titans were a threat to him.

>Casual It was because you suggested I cheat. We here at the union use exploits at times because we stack the odds against us so high it's the best approach, but I don't fancy flat out cheating.

>In the balls That's where it hurt me. It was very awkward and painful.

>Black So you're German, English, Irish, and Sicilian? That's a good combination for a pro boxer. I only know I am German and Scottish, but my last name, Allen, is so common that it's hard to pinpoint my ancestry back more than a few generations. I like to think there's something a little more exotic and fun in my genealogy.

>Light eyes Me too. I heard from a friend of mine that in Costa Rica the women really dig guys with blue eyes because they don't see them often down there. Am I crazy or are blue eyes potentially much scarier than other colors of eyes?

>Crew cut Your job requires this specific haircut? What if you suffer from male pattern baldness like myself and can't sport the "high and tight" look because there is no hair on top?

>Northern Italians Have you ever been to the land of Italy GMG? I know 2 people from Italy and both have light skin, but black hair and very dark eyes, technically brown but unless the sun is in their eyes they look black.

>Sunburn That's very lucky of you. Here in central Texas it gets really hot in the summer, and many summers where I went on vacation at a lake or at the coast sunburn and grass burs were the bane of my existence.

>Fix that Might there be a few who are tough and have real heart and guts?

You sure are nice GMG.

>SoH I'm sorry, but I'm not sure what this stands for.

>Cheat You've me mistaken for a casual friend.

>The stone It hurt me right in the balls. Did you get that too?

>Sicilian So you've got hair and eyes as black as 1000 moonless midnights? I can only imagine you sport a crew cut.

>Blonde hair and blue eyes I heard that was true of only northern Italians. I have blonde hair and blue eyes and the worst thing about it is the sunburn. Have you ever been sunburned GMG?

>Sissies Boxing would fix that.

>Gang wars If nothing else it gave you something to do while leveling up your skills with various weapons.

>Boxing Glad to hear someone else around these parts really likes it. It's my favorite sport and I've lost nearly 100 pounds at the boxing gym.

>Foreman's cut I just double checked. According to Wikipedia it was a cut to the eye, and it also pushed the fight back. I don't think it would have changed the outcome of the fight, but it's at least something to think about.

>Foreman talking about the fight He's said that when he was a younger fighter (prior to his hiatus) he had a lot of anger issues, which almost assuredly caused him to attack Ali so relentlessly. He later became a preacher, which helped resolve a lot of those issues and helped him be more relaxed in his later fights. He tends to take a very humble outlook on his career in those days, maybe even to the point where he's not giving himself enough credit.

>Frazier never stopped moving He was great at the upper body movement, but he fought like a steamroller, always coming forward. Which spells doom against Foreman. Even Ron Lyle couldn't beat him in an in fight.

>Hypothetical Foreman vs. Tyson In this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JmG_gR576EA, which took place shortly after his fight against Gerry Cooney (January of 90). In that video George talks like the fight is already scheduled. This is after Tyson ditched Kevin Rooney, and just over a month before Tyson got beaten by Buster Douglas. If Douglas could knock Tyson out in 10 I think Foreman would have done it in 1. I am of the opinion though that Mike Tyson is one of the most overrated athletes in the history of sports. His style was similar to Frazier, with a big emphasis on upper body movement and tenacity, but Foreman hit so hard to the body it almost takes those assets out of the equation. I think that Foreman would have beaten Tyson had they fought at any point when they were both pro fighters.

>Tyson Vs Holmes Tyson did get him in 4, in his only victory against an opponent worth noting, but this is a Larry Holmes who had been retired for 2 years, and who I suspect was mostly in it because he needed money.

>Do the impossible, etc "When the sun rises in the west and sets in the east. When the seas go dry and the mountains blow in the wind like leaves." - Mirri Maz Duur.

>Stocks However strange it may sound that's the only feasible way to get enough money to purchase the most expensive property.

>Sleeping Dogs I never played that. How did you like it?

>Take the piss out of me Actually the piss took the kidney stone out of me.

>Love my hair I heard that Italian people often have oily black hair.

>Bronchitis I've had that a few times. Have you been diagnosed with it before by other doctors?

>Gang territories in SA This could have been implemented much better. It makes sense in the context of the story but as far as gameplay is concerned it is disheartening to lose all the progress you made before.

>Don't have a weight issue I'm jealous. I have lost 100 pounds.

>The rumble Foreman did lose, but I've come to understand he suffered a really bad cut in his mouth during training, and because of that couldn't spar for a whole month prior to the fight. Ali also declined a very large paycheck for a rematch with Foreman, opting instead to fight Chuck Wepner. You can't take away Ali's victory or his amazing performance, but his victory was in part due to luck.

>Smokin Joe Frazier He was called Smokin Joe, but I don't think he even smoked. He fought like a steamroller, led to a style of big strengths and big weaknesses. Foreman beats any inside fighter/swarmer. Mike Tyson later ducked a fight with Foreman for this exact reason.

>Spiderman2099 I remember that comic existing but I never read an issue.

>GMG I'm sorry to hear that. That's happened to me and I was really looking forward to what you had to say.

Hey there Hotel Security. You may not know me but i'm a big fan of yours.

>Taking a break from smoking Never a bad idea. Sorry to hear about your cough, hopefully it's something that passes by it's self.

>All 3 characters Who is the third character after Bayonetta and that broad with a man's haircut?

>GTA4 I didn't like the dates, I also preferred the outdoor areas of SA to the crowded urban environment of 4.

>Awesome game It really is. A must own for any action game fan.

>SA too long and too big I felt it was a good length. The bigger map meant a bigger and longer game. One thing I didn't like about V is that almost all the missions take place in the city, while there are giant portions of the map that go wasted as far as the main storyline is concerned.

>Love my vices I have mixed feelings about mine. I need to cut down on the drinking to lose more weight.

>MSU You think they have a chance to go all the way this year in football?

>Ali didn't need body blows That had a lot to do with his style of fighting. He was a pure outside fighter who always like to maintain his distance and beat his opponents with speed and conditioning. He was lightning fast for a heavyweight, and used his legs to move around more than his upper body, which was uncommon for the heavyweight division since such a large fighter required an insane amount of conditioning to fight like that more than a few rounds. Because he liked to move around and keep his distance so much he utilized mostly straight punches to the head, as those are the safest punches to throw, involving just extending your arm straight forward and then back. Throwing to the body would force him to compromise his defense by either making him throw angled punches, which would require him to be closer to his opponent and in their line of fire, or bend at the knees to deliver a straight punch to the body, which greatly increases the chance of being hit with a counter punch.

>Body blows "Hurt a man to the body. Make him afraid of what's coming up top" - George Foreman "Put water in the basement" - Teddy Atlas. A person has a lot more organs and bones to be hit and damaged in their body than their head. There's no legal punch in boxing more damaging than a liver blow.

Looking cool while pulling off sweet combos is what I would recommend the first time you play through. I still remember the first time my friend and I figured that you could launch a guy into the air, whip him down to the ground so hard he bounces back in the air, and just keep whipping him into the ground over and over. Square square triangle is a cool combo that will get them in the air and then you can lash away. --- -- 2 -- Spiderman 2099 (Topic Creator) Posted 10/1/2013 1:54:06 PM message detail quote joe greezy posted... >React with mistrust and doubt Don't believe in yourself. Believe in me, who believes in you. I am great at making people feel better about themselves.

>Start again 3 times Your ps3s act up that much? That's rough.

>GTA I've played them all since 3 and 4 is by far the weakest, being a big step backwards from San Andreas. After beating 5 I'd say it's about equal with SA. My biggest complaint is that making money is way more focused on playing the in game stock market than pulling heists. The most expensive property is 150 million, and after beating the main story I had about 35 million on each character. There's a guide up now on when to invest in what stocks at what point in the story and people have made billions on each character. The heists themselves are extremely fun and offer some decent replay value since there's multiple ways to go about approaching each one.
