Nobody's going to really be speechless until all of these things are actually seen. Halo 3 is very promising, since so much effort is being put into it, so I am expecting something of very high quality, but I won't be 'astonished' until I see it.

The game Half-Life 2 actually used the same/similar technology for facial animation that was used in Lord of the Rings for Gollum, so Halo 3 isn't the only game with technology behind it :)

Well, why isn't anyone replying? That's all I want to know. If a bashed Halo 3's graphics my thread would be at least 2 pages by now.

And as for the facial animation: no one has done it better ever since Half Life 2. Not even Crysis. Maybe Halo 3 will actually break that curse.
