I'm not paying full price for crap. Ubisoft is lucky I'm still suckered in by the promise of using a city as my playground. I'll buy next year when it's half off or more.

I think people are finally wising up to Capcom's BS and are either boycotting the game or waiting a few months for the Ultimate edition. I have no plans for the game whatsoever.

Used games have existed long before Gamestop and many people take their used game sales on-line through Amazon, ebay, craigslist, or any number of websites. As a kid, I had a great network of sharing games between cousins, friends, and classmates. The article mentions GOTY editions where a game will come bundled with all previous DLC, or even the $20 Greatest Hit or Platinum editions. A lot of gamers will wait patiently to buy them new, especially if they sell for less then the traditional $60 price. I have seen companies call these people thieves and accuse them of buying the game used. There is no love or loyalty to any gamer.

Systems blocking used games is "a bad thing" indeed. Quite simply, I won't buy. I'm not a thief if I buy a used game, nor am I a thief if I wait for the $20 GOTY edition with all DLC included.

If gamers simply wait for the game to be released as a Platinum or Greatest Hits $20 edition, or if a gamer simply has no interest in a particular game for any number of reasons, companies would claim that the same gamer bought it used. It's too easy to blame used game sales when a number of factors can be used to explain a game's poor sales
