@Zorine @LindBergh2007 Production IG is a bit of stretch because its not know how much invested they really are in the gaming front and how much capital it has. But they are still a possibility. Sega however remains the strongest candidate currently.
@Elann2008 @Pete5506 They have $32 billion in assets, $6 billion in cash and $1 billion in extra R&D. They have some surprises in store for the gaming world this month. BIG announcements and MAJOR changes.
@abHS4L88 @LindBergh2007 They certainly will. Index is just going to name a new parent company and holdings group. They aren't going to pull the plug on Atlus at all. SEGA will keep everything intact.
@Pete5506 SEGA currently remains the highest bidder. Index will choose a candidate for Atlus' parent company. SEGASammy is in the process of being named that candidate.
Update: The July 3 list of investors bidding and creditors (Nintendo is no longer in the bid, because they didn't place a high enough bid)

SEGA was officially leaked because they remain the highest bidder of 20 billion yen. Altus is in the process of finalizing their decision to name SEGASammy their new parent company.
@Marcus6291 I've found More information about it. Index the parent company of Altus is the one DECIDING a candidate, meaning THEY'RE making the decision on which holding group will carry Altus. Which is why only Investment Groups are being named and listed. Index will certainly NAME SEGASammy as its chosen candidate.
Atlus will NOT be sold off or split. They will be sold to a new parent company. That's why no other game companies are named. It's investment groups only.
