Who said anything about deleting a comment? Either way, your instructions worked. Thanks. I think you meant "images"? Thanks a million @DigitalDame

I need to delete image. Can't delete. Why isn't there a simple "delete" button? Seems like an obvious function to omit.

I'm a TA and Supreme Commander Fan myself and I hear what you're saying. I have two words for you; " We're Old". I'm guessing you're about my age, or close; being closer to 40 than 30. That's the way of gaming these days. TA, SC1, The Operation Art of War, Panzer General, Strategic Command. They just don't really make many games like this anymore. My suggestion is battlefront.com or wargamer.net. oh.....and YOU ARE missing out on half of the fun with the Total War series. I'm a bit of a student of japanese history myself and love both Shogun and Shogun 2 total war. The whole Total War series is great!

Gamespot! You really piss me off. I'm so glad I stopped paying for this site. If you're going to have emblems, make sure they work. When they don't, people request to have it fixed via the forums or customer service and are told to pound sand!

I sat and watched your live feed of every event and got stiffed on the nintendo and sony press conference emblems. Damnit!!!

Yeah, I'mranting about emblems.....corny, yes. Nerdy? Most def, but then, so are achievments. Would you be pissed if half your achievements were gone from your xbox live account?? Yeah....I thought so.

Fix this #$%. It's ridiculous.

Check your six,

E3 is over. Unlock the Emblem reporting thread and fix this issue please. I faithfully sat and watched all of the conferences including EA and Ubisoft. I've got my MS, Day 2 and Day 3 emblems but have got nothing else.

It's cheesy, but hey, so are achievments! It's something we all want. Please fix this!

Check your six,

I completely agree with the initial poster. PC Gaming is definately going in a different direction and it's by necessity I think. The games continue to become more "console" like and not the deep, compelling gameplay PC gaming used to offer. My examples are Origin's Ultima VII and Darklands by Microprose, two RPG's still unmatched by anything since in my opinion. Also Spectrum Holobytes/Microprose's Falcon series. X-Wing and Tie Fighter by Lucasarts andthe Wing Commander series by Origin. Eye of the Beholder from SSI and Lands of Lore series from Westwood. These titles would really draw you in and it required an investment in time and interest to enjoy these to the fullest, but most gamers aren't willing to do that these days.

The problem is that for these companies to make money, they must appeal to a large sample of gamers, be they casual or "hardcore". No one takes the time to get really involved in a game or series of games, like Ultima used to or Falcon 3.0 / 4.0, where you really needed to read the manual and understand how fighter operations worked. Once you did though, your enjoyment of the games increased greatly. I really miss Origin, Microprose, Interplay and other old school PC game houses.

Now there are exceptions. The Total War series is outstanding, Steel Beasts Pro PE, Falcon 4.0 AF which I still play and I must admit my guilty pleasure that is World of Warcraft. Any civil war games, like Madminutes Battle of Bull Run and 2nd Mannassass are both excellent. I do like the Neverwinter Nights and Elder Scrolls series as well.

In the end though, I always keep a copy of Dosbox installed on my machine, because truth is, I spend more of my time playing the games of old than I do the new ones.
