Well done video. BF is an epic series and you could tell he was a true fan especially with the 1942 description. :)

I understand Kevin disliked the direction and ease of the game. However, Ace Combat needed to open itself up to a wider audience. I think the game does succeed in that. While Kevin had no issues with the visual/audio aspects. I feel because this is a flight game and there is so much enviorment with little to do then hit ground emplacements and aircraft; I liked how they have begun putting to use more of the environments around them via newer vehicles like helicopters that get you closer into the action. I think the game deserved more credit for that. Also, while the game is in a different genre as CoD MW, and it may not even be Kevin's quote (so it has nothing to do with him) but someone who works with you drives a direct comparison stating, "Call of Duty in the air is underselling it." When you compare it to one of the most highest rated games on the GS site for this generation of course people are going to draw a parallel. Why shouldn't they? Your fellow workers sure just did...
Although Apple has a huge following, something tells me that the worsening global economy is playing a factor as to why Apple didn't proceed forward with the iPhone5. Whether they would like to admit it or not. Whatever, either way in a few months after the phone is out it will be inexpensive or free depending what nation you buy it in (as long as you agree to contract) like the 3GS.
@Gelugon_baat No... You misinterpret. You said "EA's just sending these two over to tell the Japanese consumers something that they may not have heard over the Internet for years already." My interpretation from that was that you assumed the Japanese public couldn't access such information because its basically not given directly in Japanese except for events like this. Which is why I wanted to share with you my perspective. Whatever other point you're trying to make at me is misdirected as what I just said is all I wanted to share. :)
@Gelugon_baat Not true, there are plenty of Japanese blogs out there that are right on top of games like BF3, MW3, etc. In fact, there are dedicated game blogs in Japan about Western gaming alone. They translate articles taken from sites like GS, IGN, and European publications. This shouldn't come as a surprise though as it's done the other way around quite often. Here is an example of one I use (its about overseas and Japanese game info): << LINK REMOVED >>
I do hope that EA through whatever means that work gets more gamers (specifically those that have only played CoD and not BF before) to give it a shot. BF and other titles like this are pushing the online FPS genre more by making one's in game tasks and responsibilities slightly more complex. If more people start to learn, adapt and cooperate in games like BF I think this encourage developers to create more complex AAA quality FPS online games. We aren't at the point of getting the masses to switch over to a game like ArmA but I think BF is a good crossroad to be at. Nevertheless, I anticipate both games, although BF3 a 'bit' more. :P
Ah Blizzard, you're a little late...April Fool's Day was a while ago now. Oh wait, you mean you're serious about this system? Oh ****...
I got to think about going there. There is a train that goes straight to USJ from where I wait at the platform at Sakuranomiya station when I'm off to work. It would get me to USJ in about 15 minutes.
