No, not because it's a bad game, but because the framerate on 360 is awful. Wilderness and such are fine, but when you get to a place with lots of people the framerate often drops in half. If you have a pc from the last 5 years it would look and run better on that.

PC Gamers: I only play on PC because the only thing I can care about in games is the graphics.

This thread is incredible.
Even though Diablo 2 owned my life for like 2 years, I was 13 back when it came out. I can no longer sustain an interest with games that are just about clicking and getting better items. Thank god I tried the demo before wasting $60.
Frankly, I just want another game from them. The Batman games are up there with the best gaming has to offer right now.
Installed Thief Gold, patched with the community fixpack so everything works great. I never got past the first Gold level, so I'm looking forward to a free night to turn off the light, put on some headphones and play what is probably the most immersive game ever.
Also, it's fascinating just how level design changed during the 15 years since the game's release. Thief levels are really, seriously huge. It's much easier to treat the game world as an actual place when you aren't limited to corridors. Also, it messes with my completionist attitude in that it's pretty pointless to try and see everything - you just have to treat it like a stage to complete your objective rather than the rollercoaster ride mentality enforced by current design.
So yeah, a really good game.
Way I see it, Elder Scrolls games are single player MMO's anyway. Everything I did in Skyrim could've been done in any MMORPG and the result would've been the same. Not going to pay a monthly fee for any game though, so whatever.
Yeah I don't really bother getting frustrated by adventure games nowadays. Because there are generally so many games out there, I'm not going to spend ages on figuring out which item goes with which item to progress. Also, because there is only one solution to any puzzle, It's often hugely frustrating when you can think of an easy solution to a problem the developers didn't seem to account for. So yeah, I use a guide if I get stuck for more than like 15-20 minutes.
