Not a massive AiC fan, but I listen to them often on Spotify. Don't get the whole thing about fans not liking the new singer. From what I've seen/heard the guy is a damn good singer and does the old songs justice. He's not there as a replacement, he's just doing his bit to keep the band alive, and fans should appreciate it.

Didn't know there was new material, will have a listen :)

After jumping straight out of a relationship into another, and then getting "burned" - my resolution is to take it slow :)

In an ideal world, yes. However funding it via tax is (imo) the ideal. Here in the UK the NHS serves us very well on the whole. I've needed it several times during my adult life (spiked drink, operation on my hand, broken bones) and it was comforting that I wouldn't be landed with a bill at the end of my care.

I live because I was born, and it seems ridiculous to end my own life. With the money I earn from work, I enjoy what I can. Several failed relationships, but each one better than the one before - and each one giving me happy memories.

Death is (at the moment) inevitable and there's nothing (as far as we know) after death, so I believe you make the best of what you have, while you have it.

Will miss him. A legend of the sport but sadly, although he wasn't "bad" this time around, he just wasn't able to capture that "Champions Form".

It's probably the one genre (aside from Romantic Comedies) that is overrun by awful movies.

Check out Episode 50. Looks good on the back of the case, but it's the most bland, cliche, "American" horror movie I've ever seen.

I've been working as a forecaster for a medium sized company since the start of 2012. They took me on as I have qualifications in Economics, and originally had me as a Buyer, they've already payed for an Administration course and I expressed an interest in something more challenging. They're now discussing a Logistics course that I can go on. They've got me set up to take over from someone else who is moving to a more consultant-type role, and eventually want me to do the same.

If you show ambition, most companies are more than happy to accomodate you. Remember, your boss has to retire at some point and he/she will need replacing.

Pretty similar to today, except:

- Far more aggressive advertising

- Higher fuel prices (unless it's been replaced by an alternative)

- Drastic change in our diet due to food shortages

- Larger gap between rich and poor

- Higher house prices

- More "personal" surveilance via "internet police" type tactics and far more CCTV

Pretty geeky but today me and a guy at work made a tool in MS Excel that made my job as a forecaster a hell of a lot more accurate and simple. Shaved time off decision making for the future, and made the decisions that I do make far more viable and saves the company money.

One of those moments where you have a little victory celebration about something, but nobody else cares about it cos they don't realise how awesome it was.

I'd give up computers.

Don't fancy fapping to a girl on a computer screen when I can touch the real thing.
