A person in love with Sony says look at how the PS2 sold when referring to last Gen but this Gen tries to say Units sold doesn't mean anything when the truth is it's everything for these companies why do you think Sony tried to justify a $600 price tag? so they wouldn't lose that much money if they lost anything. So put this in perspective Nintendo won this gen whether you like it or not. It's up to them to continue with their Ocean strategy or go back to the people who literally abandoned them. IMHO go the split route cater to the needs of both ends of the spectrum they can keep the people who love them and those who are just starting.

A gamer is a gamer whether he's a COD master or can't play Rock Band above easy it's about having fun ultimately and no amount of fanboyism will change that.
