I dont normally take pleasure in things like this, but lololololololol. This really is an example of karma. I've had plenty of - what I thought were - unjust moderations by him. He never would recant or even listen to your counter argument. Then he lost his mod status and was upset because no one listened to his argument. In the end, it got him banned. Karma.

There is no such thing as Karma. This just so happens to be a situation that you relish in; it's merely a coincidence.

depends on how one views/defines karma I would imagine

Well, based on his post, I'd say that he defines Karma as retribution (exacted by some higher power) for acts committed in the past. In other words, some higher power created the circumstances which led to the banning of the user in question in order to punish him. However, I'd say that the user in question created those circumstances on his own. It was only inevitable and logical that he would eventually bite the big one due to his behavior. Saying that Karma is the cause for his banning is like saying that Karma is the cause for the conviction and imprisonment of a repeat criminal offender.

Well, yes, you're right; having a college degree is worthless in the long run because we'll all eventually perish anyhow. However, in the short run (i.e. life here on Earth) it is quite beneficial as it makes life easier. With your logic, nothing is worth doing, which means that we should just let our selves wither away as we do nothing with our lives.

Either Biblical Hebrew or Koine Greek. Why? So that I might better understand the text of the Bible.mindstorm

Exactly what text of the Bible do you want to better understand? You do realize that there are tens of thousands of manuscripts from which the Bible is translated, which have textual differences between one another. Heck, some manuscripts have entire passages that are missing from others. For example, the final passage in the Gospel according to Mark, in which Jesus supposedly tells the apostles that they'll be able to perform miracles such as pick up snakes and speak in tongues, is missing from the earliest manuscripts. Another example is the passage in the Gospel according to John in which Jesus supposedly makes the famous quote "Let he who is without sin cast the first stone;" it is missing from the earliest manuscripts as well. :shock:So the question is: Which manuscripts do you want to better understand? How can you even know which ones to trust?

How are you fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how are you cut down to the ground, which did weaken the nations!

For you have said in your heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also on the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north:

I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High.

Yet you shall be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit.

They that see you shall narrowly look on you, and consider you, saying, Is this the man that made the earth to tremble, that did shake kingdoms;

That made the world as a wilderness, and destroyed the cities thereof; that opened not the house of his prisoners?

All the kings of the nations, even all of them, lie in glory, every one in his own house.

But you are cast out of your grave like an abominable branch, and as the raiment of those that are slain, thrust through with a sword, that go down to the stones of the pit; as a carcass trodden under feet.

You shall not be joined with them in burial, because you have destroyed your land, and slain your people: the seed of evildoers shall never be renowned.

Used to. But then I've seen the very same girls completely dressed down and looking like a totally different person the next day or a few days later. Given how much room women have to modify their looks and the vibe they give off from those looks it is really hard to discern anything at all about them that way.Articuno76

The truth is that all females want the shovel, ya dig? So on certain days, they don the proper equipment to prepare themselves for the excavation.

What's with what looks like a halo on your avatar then?

Iszdope

It's from a cartoon. Obviously, it's nothing serious.
