people DO care about scores. If GT5 had gotten a 9.0-9.5 on gamespot I would have eventually bought it but now I have no plans to since I already have Forza 3. Sure 6 million sales are good but I doubt it will get past the 10 million life time sales. If it had gotten a 9.0, then word of mouth would have gone around that it is an excellent game worth buying and millions more people would have bought it. Now the initial 6 million who bought it will spread the word around how GT5 is a good game but nowhere near the quality of Forza 3.

Just coz GT5 got a 8 from GameStop doesnt mean that pple wont buy it. Not everyone looks at GameSpot's reviews when buying a game.

Besides if a game gets all the scores above that doesnt mean it isnt worth the £40 you are spending on it. And noone will start spread the word that Forza 3 is better then GT5, Forza 3 isnt perfect either.
btw Sony wont care how reviews scored the game, its the sales figures they care about and not reaching 10 million in its lifespan is a wrong guess since the game came out 24 Novand already sold 6 million copies, it hasnt even reached the new year yet. Try thinking it might help.
And i play both Killzone and COD but that doesnt mean i'm a ''hardcore gamer'', it just mean i like playing Killzone and COD.
IMO noone is ''hardcore gamer'' coz there is no such thing. People play games for fun and the people that like FPS and competitive games are not ''Hardcore Gamers'' unless the 12 year old i heard while playing Black Ops multiplayer is a ''hardcoregamer'' for just playing ( and possibly only knwing) COD.
And as for the other games you mentioned they are just games for everyone to play and enjoy, not something aimed for ''Hardcore Gamers''
But then again you could think that ''Hardcore Gamers'' are gamers that play alot of games (a lot)and spend every lil penny they have on games (apart from bills and food)
Most dev teams make the games on the 360 first since its the weakest of the 3 and ports the games on to the PS3 and PC. The PC is the strongest gaming machine and there for is the one that needs the most exclusives to shows its powercoz no dev team is going to make a game on each system seperatly, that will cost a lot of money and will take too long. They are in for the money and nothing else they are a business after all, and making money always comes first. But i dont think PC gaming is dying since it still is getting many good games (not as much as the 360 and PS3), they just need more dev teams showing a lil more care when making the PC version of a game and consider the fact that the PCcan do more then the 360. (I am a PS3 games so am not an expert at PC gaming and if its dying or not :P)

They can always do like Uncharted 2 but i find it hard to believe, i have a friend with platinum on KZ3, in a way i think its kinda cool they made it so hard and i bet they're gonna do it again.
Guess you mean KZ2 not KZ3. But i still didnt get platinum on KZ2 coz of the top 1% in a week trohpy. I might have better luck in this one (if the trohpies arent so hard to complete)
