Hey guys, I've been trying to get this to work for the longest time, but I gave up.

My graphics card is the Nvidea Geforce 9800 GTX, For anyone that doesn't know, it comes with a converter for DVI to HDMI, which i plug in, and then I bought an HDMI to HDMI cable to hook that up to my TV. So now I do that, the computer turns on fine, and shows up on screen but it doesnt fit in. I toyed with the resolution for over an hour, and went to EVERY single tick on the slider, and it still wouldn't fit. I found the "stretch/skew" type thing in the Nvidea control panel and it made it fit, but then everything is just small.

My TV is a Samsung 27 inch HDTV(it's CRT but...that shouldn't matter, it still support HDMI, S-Video, component, etc.) I have my xbox hooked up fine, my cable box hooked up fine, etc. . Anyone have any tips? I could find the model number for the TV if you need.

Well you do need the original Crysis installed...so it probably takes into consideration the size of crysis plus this game.

Umm I know plenty of people who Play WoW and have a life, This is what I hate everyone stereotypes people who play WoW as having no life, Im sure there are people who play that do have no life, but you cannot stereotype every WoW player as "having no life".Lachesis_001

And I can say the same. I have a group of about 8 friends and we all play WoW, have lvl 70's, raid TOGETHER, and enjoy everything in our lives. We can hang out all the time, and we go out all the time. We have an amazing guild, in which we know everyone in it, and are close friends with all of them. The guild really makes your end game experiance either suck or be awesome. I don't know if anyone can relate but we don't play WoW for the gear. We play to play and have fun raiding. If we down a boss, it's so awesome. If we wipe, it's still fun as hell. If something we need drops, ****ing awesome as well, if it doesn't, oh well, there's next week.

The community that makes the game bad are the gear hungry **** but anyway that's besides the point. You can be Jack Black and still play WoW hardcore style. It doesn't matter, you can still have a life. There's nothing on the side of the box that says "Warning : Playing this game may cause soap to disappear, resulting in immense acne; showers may not work, resulting in intense smell; and the sun may never reach you again." Hm..probably because Blizzard knows and expects people to have the right priorities, and you people should too. It's a game. Just like people play Halo 3 every night can be star athletes and top 10 of their grade.

Stop making false assumptions and stereotypes.

(not pointed at you Lachesis, just used you for my first part.)

[QUOTE="MadExponent"]The point being made is that games aren't handicapped by lack of storage space...everyone knows this.StringGuard

Tell you what. At least Sony has the brains to back up any known issue. Blu-ray read speed issues? Use HDD. DVD-9 space issues, cut game down. ANY PS3 owner can play ANY PS3 game. Where's the harm in that? The same can't be said for 360.

And to say every multiplat is better on the 360 is nothing but false.

Oh Really? I asn't aware I can't play some of the games I own.

and no, reviews show, many games work better on 360.

MGS4 - 45Gb
Ratchet & Clank Future = 17 Gb
Uncharted = 15 Gb
Resistance: Fall of Man = 12 Gb

Its clear that Sony is taking advantage of the Blu Ray & they aren't ripping us off. 3rd party games will soon follow the trend, specially 3rd party PS3 exclusives like MGS4, Final Fantasy, etc.

NinjaMunkey01

wow R&C took up that much space? It was a great game but... 17Gigs!!!!!!!!!

Yeah it took up 17 gigs...uncompressed. The compressing tech. can easily make that game fit on a 9gb DVD. Easily.

all those, except MGS4 can be put onto a DVD with no problem

I personally think that it is dumb to wait out all night for a video game. If you have it reserved they will have it tomorrow and even if you don't have it reserved you will still probably be able to find one. Being able to play a game a couple hours before other people isn't really worth it in my opinion.

If you are really serious about staying out, I would say just bring your tent, a sleepingbag or blanket or something, dress warm, and maybe a laptop or something, I don't know, just enough stuff to keep you warm and entertained for a while

paul52181

I agree...kinda lame to wait out all night just for a game. Get it the next day.

Cause when you're with your friends, it's just a fun time. It's a memory, it's something to do, you enjoy yourself.

headset = 2 (or 1 like the original 360 headset) speakers.

2 speakers = 2.0 sound
not surrouind sound at all.

Mikee3

theres two ear pieces, just like you have two ears. obviously inside those ear pieces are separate speakers. im no expert but im sure theres technology that can explain all this and i know for a fact that there is 5.1 headsets that are better than most stereo systems.

and to NOD, thanks for the tip, i'll check it out.

can anyone PM me if they happen to find one?

Does anyone know if there's a wireless Headset that supports 5.1 surround sound, and can work with both the 360 and PC?

I found this, and am probably gonna get it, but it's wired:(

You're a music expert that supports downloading songs...hence the downfall of the industry. I see you love music.
