I loved BotW and I'm currently playing Persona 5 but between both games I'm gonna say BotW is still my GOTY for now. P5 is great and I'm loving it but I enjoyed P4 more and BotW a LOT more. Still, gonna have to finish P5 before any conclusions.

So far no issues but got a screen protector to be safe. No problems with the joycons either. Also using a Neon Switch.
Own one and loved it. Actually use it a lot more than my PS4.
Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE. Fantastic game!
I know 3 people who have one besides me.
Pretty much dead but at least the games are dropping in price!
Hoping to finish Pokemon Moon and Tokyo Mirage Sessions # FE at least. Maybe squeeze in some Assassin's Creed Chronicles.
Upgraded to a N3DS XL last July and I thought it was worth it. I was interested in the c-stick and a faster system sounded nice on paper. The main reason I got it though was because I had quite a bit of spare cash and the Hyrule Edition looked nice. So if you're not that interested in the new features then don't bother, a 3DS XL is perfectly fine.
Exclusives definitely still matter. I bought a PS4 to play The Last of Us Remastered and got a Wii U for Pikmin, Mario, and Bayonetta 2. Any multiplats owned are just the cherry on top. Having said that, I don't think exclusives move consoles as much as they used do with the exception of the Wii U because it pretty much lives on exclusives. The average gamer may have bought an X1 or a PS4 for the exclusives they offer but they also considered what their friends have and what console offers the best multiplat experience.
Can't say I'm surprised. I really hoped that it would have done well and surprised us all but it is what it is: a game that no asked for and no one wants.
