So.... When was the last time you decided you set your fridge to lower temperature when putting in a warm can of soda into it, or put it on higher temperature when putting in a can that is cool? By this logic, the can being warmer or cooler should affect the temperature that other products in the fridge require to stay fresh.

If I didn't know any better, I would think this is satire...

I think your points are all valid, but the score is too low.

As a side note, FF-13 has much better story-telling, but the game-play itself is the most bland in the series.

While this is not a sequel (which seems to be the primary concern of readers of this review), this game is a successor to previous games, and a bad one at that.

I've played every Tales of X released in english language and it's really hard not to compare this game to predecessors. I can relate to most of experience this reviewer had.

I thought the combat started out slow (as it does in all Tales of X games), but it turned out that characters were simply generic and had no unique abilities *Cough* "Can dual wield", "Does not stagger on slow artes", "Has increased stat X" *Cough* (such as dual stances, attack charging, dodging behind an enemy, etc that newer other Tales of X games character had).

Combat system is dumbed down too: instead of some of more complex mechanics Tales of X games had they gave monsters more resistances and restricted your party so your battles are spend switching to right seraphim and starting out your combos with right attacks to trigger a power hit, because monsters are usually resistant to every other attack type.
