yes the graphics are great for a ps3 game.im sure they could be even better once developers get the hang of the ps3.it looks just as good as the 360 version.the comparison video on gt was inaccurate.they mustve used 2 different tvs or some tv or console settings were wrong.
yeah crysis for ps3 is cheaper than rebuilding your pc.all that money just to get it to run at a decent framerate.dont forget regardless of your pc build.if your gpu or cpu is old its not going to cut it for crysis.no one said life was fair right.
yeah and if you turn off the info bar from the new 2.0 update apparantely that'll fix the problem...ajefferism
this seems like a bunch of crap for fixing the freezing issues.I got the game last friday and this was after the 2.0 update.the news ticker was off before I even played ac.and it still was freezing on me so that makes that fix invalid.maybe those who tried this fix are just lucky right now.
already got episode 2 and portal for the pc.I couldnt wait for some ps3 version.im so used to playing hl2 on pc so why get it on ps3.you dont need a super pc to play it anyways.:P

i would like to know that too. i didn't have any freezing problems in the game (yet, i'm only on my 4th assasination tho') but it would be nice if the others had their problems fixed... don't think it's funny playing a game that suddenly freezes up on you
ive never had my ps3 freeze before until I played ac.but I did have some freezing on the web trying to go to some site with high bandwith.I had to turn off my ps3 to get it to work.maybe now the sites work now.does this firmware update the flash player?
yea the game froze on me a few times as well ... and the same got stuck in a wall... had to let the guards kill me to get out... but its completely understandable considering how big the game is.. and how much is going on all at once... that site is brutal though .. .so critical about minor bugs and glitches... i mean cmon... for instance mario64 was one of the most buggy glitchy games to date.. yet it was an amazing game... people are getting way too critical about games these days...

yes but glitches dont have a place in a console.its easy to fix on a pc with a patch.do you think its possible releasing all 3 versions is the reason for the bugs?
there was a topic on here and its locked so cant post in it.they mentioned the freezing was due to overheating from playing to long or inadequate cooling.this can be proved false if you start the game after your ps3 was off for several hours/days and it freezes.there needs to be proof that prolonged play of ac is the reason for freezing.
that will be nice when the ps3 games all run at 60 fps.they also should be programmed better so they dont need any hd space.oh and the games should all be a rating.that could be 2010 or never,but if this is possible then bring it on.

when you click play online it will basically force download and thats all, you really dont need to do anything on your part but maybe restart the game, kinda like resistance, if you have it, when they patched that
so the patch doesnt actually install on your hd right?or is it just an online update on the net?never had to patch any ps3 game so I dont know what happens.
its not just the glitches that annoy me about this game.but the objects rendering in front of you is just unreal.they couldve just made things in the background blurry.ive seen people appear out of thin air and sit on a bench while I was walking toward the area.the glitch I noticed was in masyaf where you do your training.the guy was in the corner and he started bobbing up and down right through the ground.then he moved to the side and didnt do it.the other was a guard standing on the cliff edge fell through it when I pushed him.
ok what about the demo that was shown with altair jumping off the tower into a haystack.and everyone laughed because the civilians didnt react to it.this was never fixed as no one not even guards make noise or talk if you jump out a haystack or fall in one.the game isnt that bad but its hard to ignore these problems if it ruins the game.could it just be the console versions are glitchy or what?
im buying this game no matter what.id get the pc version but it wont run as good since my pc isnt built for gaming.the online problems can be fixed.no game on the ps3 or 360 is perfect.
