You could give Claymore a go. It has a fantasy setting. Lots of swords and armor. And revenge. The best part about the show is the revenge tale. Plus it's relatively short. Only about 26 episodes I believe. Makes for a very focused story. It's quite bloody though and takes itself very seriously. So keep that in mind. As for something more light hearted, you might try Fairy Tail. A great series filled with magic and all other sorts of mystical powers. It's a lot longer than 26 episodes and still ongoing too. Lots of comedy and wonderully animated characters. I haven't gotten far enough in it to judge the overall plot, but it's interesting and fun enough to keep even the most critical anime watcher. And if you just want something to really get invested in, I'd go for Naruto. Tried and true. You can't go wrong with a series like Naruto. Great characters, a bit clichéd at times though. Story is engaging and will keep you occupied for quite some time considering the amount of episodes already out. The first Naruto series is 220 episodes, and Naruto Shippuden is ongoing with over 200 episodes so far. Be aware that the series tends to drift into fillers now and then. They aren't all bad, but they can be annoying at times. Well that's all I got. Hope this helps. =)

I've been getting into quite a few anime's in my spare time as of late, and with every anime comes an opening. Sometimes many openings. I've found that the strength of ones opening can drastically increase a series' appeal, for me at least. For example, the first opening of Fairy Tail pretty much cemented my love for the series right from the get go. And one of my favorite parts of Naruto is seeing how good the next opening will be for a new season or arc. Lemme know what some of your favorite anime openings are. And is the opening important to you or not?

Does anyone know why Edward wasn't the hulk for this movie? I would love to know because he seemed good enough in his Hulk movie lol.

This is the best I've been able to find on the subject.

It's kind of vague though. My biggest problem with the whole situation is that it kind of kills the continuity Marvel was trying to achieve with all of the movies leading up to the Avengers movie. It's like a massive piece of the story was just cut out and replaced by an imposter. I personally like Mark Ruffalo as an actor and I think he did a good enough job as Bruce Banner. What bothered me more than anything is how they completely redesigned the way the Hulk looks like in the Avengers. In the 2008 film he had a much more intricate look to him. You could see his muscles and veins in much greater detail. And he had more upright posture which I liked because it made him seem like he had more intelligence than his personality let on. In the Avengers movie he pretty much just looks like a massive body builder painted green. A lot more like the 2003 hulk film. And his posture is more gorilla-like which makes him look much duller and dim-witted.

Overall, I was not a fan. But in the end, it wasn't enough to completely kill my enjoyment of the Avengers.

I thought it was great. I had trouble shaking my fustration over Edward Norton's absence and the Hulk redesign, but other than that I enjoyed it very much. I think Captain America's outfit was a bit cheesy too. The outfit he had in his own movie was much better.

I told everyone he wasn't fired for giving Kane & Lynch a bad score. Excuse me while I bask in the glory of being right all these years.

HarlockJC

He seemed kinda mixed on that. I think it still played a large part in the reason. I love how much he dumped on the game being a bad game though. So many on here after the review came out talked about how good the game was.

Mixed or not, the fact of the matter is that the bad score he gave Kane & Lynch does not have a direct correlation with him being fired. Maybe it played a part in it, but it wasn't the sole cause is the point I'm making.

It's about damn time they used Sanctuary as the theme song again. I'm getting sick of hearing Simple & Clean over and over again in every friggin' trailer they put out for a KH game.
