I'll be honest, I didn't read your post. My only thing about hype is that I prefer to not hear a thing about the game except the necessary details and just take the game with an open mind. I tend to not rush through games that way.

[QUOTE="KGB32"]Honestly, that's kind of the last straw for me as a console owner. 59.99 USD for a game is asking too much for games that you expect to have problems on release day. The only way I get into the latest games is via my PC with services like Steam and D2D. I mean I just got Sonic Generations for 10 bucks while it's still 30 for consoles. While I'm keeping my PS3 for the blu ray functionality, I'm seriously debating selling my xbox. I'll probably just skip the console generation next go around. My GTX 570 will last a few years anyhow. bluemantan
I own a 360, PS3, and PC (i5 2500k, 560 ti) and probably spend an even amount of time gaming on all three of them, and the PC is definately as buggy as consoles. I mean, I bought Arkham City on the 360 because at launch it was unplayable. I passed on Rage but the PC version flat out didn't work for a very large percentage of the people who bought it.

I do agree that pc games can be as buggy as consoles, but that's not the point I was getting at. I was pointing out that the PC crowd only has to pay a fraction of what the console players pay for a buggy game. I mean, I would feel not so upset if i paid 40 bucks for a buggy game than 60+ dollars.

I would also like to point out that if I were to get port that I knew would have problems, I would do a google search on the game's problem(s) and see if we on the consumer side can do something about it. I would feel robbed buying a console game that comes out buggy and all you can do is wait for the devs to do something about it, while on PC it can be something as simple as changing a .ini file.

Yea I like to think of Physx as an added bonus. It's pretty awesome to know of new games having it and remembering that you suddenly have a card that can do that :P

They will never admit it but they have definitely pushed core gamers to the side, because they know where the money is now. Casual gamers ate up Kinect and all its shovelware so MS is going to keep making more for them. I'm not saying we aren't going to get our Forzas, Gears and Halos, but new IP's geared toward the core aren't looking too promising. Maybe next gen this will change, i sure hope so.

This is why I won't buy anymore consoles from here on unless they change back to previous gen attitudes. I'll just keep gaming on my PC.

I got Batman for free with my gtx570 and I paid $25 for Skyrim cause I had left over money sitting in my Gamestop account from a birthday a while back.

Ok, I just switched the Physx card to the GTX 570 in the Nvidia control panel, and ran the bench in Batman AA again, and I actually gained 1 FPS on the average. I don't understand, I would think by having the GTS 250 solely working on the physx, and the 570 doing everything else would make this run better. The results of the bench without the GTS 250 were: Min: 43, Highest: 114, Avg: 78. and the one with the 250 were the same except 77 as the avg.
