A score of 7 and 8 are fairly good. Many good games need patches, which should be a given for one with this size and scope. Sure it's not Shepard...which starts the reviewer off on shaky ground. It's trying something different yet familiar with new characters to start seeding humanity's remaining peoples in Andromeda. It's not Shepard and his gang. It is technically beautiful, the mechanics are sound, and the quests are mainly fodder we've seen for 30 years of questing in games.

Give it a fair chance and try not to be hyper critical for the franchise that came before. It's not bad! It's rather good, just not Zelda breath of the wild good.

I wouldn't call a new Zelda game a weak launch title at all. It should keep us all pretty busy for some time. As for the other launch titles, I can pass. I already own Mario Kart 8 and its dlc.
