I don't think that would be a smart move on Microsoft's behalf. If they decide t stick w/ an "always-online" system, they are going to end up loosing their biggest customers, COLLEGE STUDENTS! Microsoft should think about that on-campus college students solely depend on wifi, but knowing that their is so much traffic on these networks wifi is not always that reliable. Even though I had a PS3 I dealt w/ the same issues. If they did decide to implement 3g/4g plans for the new system that could help, but not everyone would benefit because that's extra money to pay that the customer may not have to spend. Microsoft also have to realize if it wasn't for college students they would not be making so much money off of XboxLive either. Hopefully they do away w/ that.
