I would just get both. Dissidia is MONTHS away, plenty of time to finish up with Tekken and save up some more money.
Season 2, then 1. Season 2 was widely anticipated for greatness and held up its expectations to match Season 1. After those two, they just started to run out of ideas for Pokemon and the new ones started to get dumb.

Try Final Fantasy III, Chrono Trigger, or The World Ends With You. They're great games of the same genre.
I understand the need of the lack of politics and economy, but I always found conspiracy theories fun, if not practical.
DS Lite. I need the GBA port. And I doubt that any HUGE games for me will be released exclusive for the DSi.
