Still don't have a 4k tv and I have no interest in VR at the moment, so I'm fine with my decision not to get it.

From left to right in my entertainment room... PS3, Switch, PS4. I have so many games that I still love to play on my PS3, plus the PS1 compatibility so I can play some old games if I want.

The Atari 2600, Intellivision and Vectrex played a big part of my childhood. The PS1 was more of a mid-20's thing for me.

Bought the PS1 on launch day and got Rayman with it. Kept me busy for a long time.

More 3rd party games. The stronger the library, the better the chance of a long system life.

It's a fantastic game. Played it all the way through on PC. The ending is superb and really tugs on the heartstrings.

@multiplat:

1. Yes you can and they make interesting gameplay. link to a discussion on an all rogue party. http://www.grimrock.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=2223

2. While certain races have clear class preferences all races are viable in all classes. Yet it does not spare you from paying attention to them.

Insectoid Natural Armor grants Protection +5. A proper trained and equipped fighter can pass Protection 80, specialists even 100. Keep in mind: in LoG Protection is pure physical damage reduction and only reduces taken damage, never nullifies it.

3. Whichever you want. Try hard first and if it's too much play in normal.
