OH, PLEASE! They just don't want SSB sales conflicting with Super Mario Galaxy Sales. It's a tactic that the use every holiday season - they want the holiday hype, but don't actually want to put it on shelves yet, regardless of it's developmental stage. The same tactic was utilized with Oblivion, when just WEEKS before it's release date, they pushed it back passed the holiday season all the way to march. That really pissed me off.
It's so true, though. But, I mean, it's because there aren't any really AWESOME games available yet. I have a Wii, and it's having a great time in the living room waiting for SSB:B and Super Mario Galaxy. It's already played through Zelda and Metroid, so now it's pretty much just sitting there, oddly jacking off to its internet connection all the time.
Well, I wouldn't have done, but my brother's a nationally ranked fencer...if he used one of his sharpened swords (which he doesn't have **cough**cough**), he could probably stab anyone with a gun before they even knew what hit them. Me? I would've been in the closet with my sister, lol.
Yeah, tiki! The only way i find a console to be superior to a PC is in it's multi player functionality. Sitting around the room with a bunch of your friends with controllers in your hands---a PC can't do that. But in every other category, the PC beasts consoles. Period.
Well, I mean, ya' gotta give this game some slack...it came out right in the midst of a console war, and several other highly-anticipated games, such as Gears of War. Furthermore, I think just about every one of us said "wow, I'd like to get this game, but there are so many other good games out there right now." I dunno, I'm just speculating, but I really think this game set itself up by coming out when it did.
