@GarGx1: Calling PC2 a Sim is overrating it by a mile; calling Forza "arcade" is underrating it by a mile. They are both "Simcade"; a mix between a full blown Simulation and an Arcade racer.
@livedreamplay: Both, since morallity equals money if a word is deemed immoral by the ones paying you for your work. Or as the saying goes "don't bite the hand that feeds you".
@livedreamplay: True, rappers do use that word. However do not get their paycheck by people and companies who disagree with using that word. If they would be payed by those companies, then those rappers would not use the N-word since it would end with them out of a job.
The issue here is even worse then people seen to realise. People who use racial slurs and the like, so people using similar profane language as Pewdiepie, are the reason why lots of YouTube-gamers have/had to quit making video's. They are seen equally as bad pr as Pewdiepie yet most are innocent of even letting in a single swear word in the video. And do not think that this will be a YouTube only thing; Twitch will also end up going down the drain due to these things.
And mind you, I am not against the use of the N-word, but am not as naive as to think that others can not find that kind of language to profane to be linked to their brand. It is their brand, and contentcreators will have to follow their rules, wether those creators like it or not. I also can not go and call my clients certain words without expecting backlash.
Seeing as nVidia's 10XX line of GPU's can quite easely do 4k @ 30 fps and that on a PC, wich is an less optimised system, doing a 4K console in 2017 is quite doable.
As for the price, I am willing to bet a pricepoint of around 600$ is whats to be expected. This even moreso due to the system being fully backwards compatible with the Xbone (-S), wich drives the price up even more.
I hope that Sony and Nintendo will both also deliver a new console thats 4K compatible and all and give us gamers a real next-gen instead of the current lousy excuse. Because buying a console of this generation isn't worth the money really when you can buy a GPU wich in itself is more powerfull then a whole console.
If only companies like Gamestop had that information for real.....
Now if you read this information as it should be, it goes on about "what if...". The last slide basically says: What if Gamestop has a 33% marketshare and there would be new console launches? Then we would sell for over 5 billion and you, the shareholder, would get loads of money...
In the end this is nothing more then a salespitch. So do not take this in any shape or form as them saying there will be a next generation this or next year.
This is a perfect example of what hypocrisy really is. It surprises me they do not take offence to the cleavage thats shown in WoW because thats a lot more "in your face". (no pun intended)
Well, for a game that supposedly has a recommended PC spec consisting of a I7 4790 and a GTX980Ti and 16 gb of ram, it isn't wierd to see that kind of a result on a console thats halve the price of the GPU alone....
That an Xbone can even run that game is a miracle in itself. This unless they really do a bad job optimising the PC version and base it the specs on that, or they base the recommended specs on 4K@30fps videosettings. Either way, the PC specs are way more powerfull then what a Xbone has in terms of performance. and that shows in the end.
@ThatPjYouKnow21 Yep, E3 was lackluster for PC and consoles. I personally was more exited by an extremely small teaser a WiiU game (the new Zelda that is) then anything else.
But I guess thats to be expected in a year after the release of a new generation of consoles. Most titles were announced last year or in between then and now, and other titles will take till next year because of the long development time on those.
Oh Nintendo, you are such a tease...... Wished I could see more because this game looks epic, maybe they can finally make a Zelda game that surpasses Ocarina of Time. Sadly to play this game a WiiU is needed, and besides the handfull of Nintendo titles that console has nothing to offer and so isn't worth the money for me. So oh well, guess you really can not have everything.
