@Yomigaeru: "because it's less work intensive?"

Might wanna try doing some 3d work before saying things like that... Also anyone can put their hand in a puppet. Though I will give you animatronics, that's gotta be pretty awkward to do.

@nparks: What world are you living in? Muppets are everywhere... Most "world leaders" are muppets.

Nothing says "bad match" quite like large portions of both sides saying they don't want to be mixed... Most sports fans don't wanna watch other people playing video games and I'll bet we could find a few people who don't want to see football/baseball/golf? adverts every 10 minutes while they're trying to watch their Esports.

@migi1688 CW probably have enough money to fight them, so they wont bother... Only interested in bullying the little guys who can't afford to fight back.

@oflow Hence "but the main flaw was peer2peer, that lag was unplayable, lol."

However, more players (from making it free to play) + better matchmaking (which was better on the steam version) would have at least curbed the problem.

I wish 'Guardians of Middle Earth' had made the decision to do it this way, rather than pay for the game (leaving a tiny playerbase) and including cash grab mechanics (originally dlc's for additional characters and a game mode) but the main flaw was peer2peer, that lag was unplayable, lol.

Sadly the game was quite fun to play... On the rare occasion it ran smoothly and had enough players.

@xeveros It had some nice places, but as a whole I found it a bit boring in between. It was nice to see places once, but I never really felt I wanted to go back to them.

On the other hand I wouldn't put Skyrim there myself, it was big, but not very 'alive.'

@jenni90 I can agree with that, if you haven't already I urge everyone that enjoyed the game on ps2 to try it emulated, because there's a lot of nice detail lost in the crappy resolution & aliasing.

Eorzea FF14... & I don't even play the game. Even in 1.0 with it's copy pasted and somewhat bland looking areas, it still had a great feeling to it. I only played 2.0 during the beta, but the world appeared to have the same feeling, but with a lot more going on in the areas that were bland.

I still feel like i want to just run around the game world and listen to the music, even though I dislike the gameplay.

I can think of other games that I enjoy and remember, but the worlds alone don't hold enough to really make them memorable without the game itself.
