Iv'e watched some YouTube videos on this game and... it doesnt look that appealing to me, at all. am i the only wii gamer who thinks this? :|
No. While I think it is probably a really good game, I am not the kind of gamer who finds it enjoyable to spend an hour or two figuring out how to kill a monster. Call it monster ADD if you will, but building up my character's skills and collecting items to build better weapons for the purpose of hunting bigger monsters doesn't get me excited.
Still, I don't think some videos on YouTube can really show you what this game is all about, and the people who like obviously really like it.Yeah, videos don't do it justice. It's the total "carrot in front of a mule" trick that gets you hooked... like me! I own almost ALL of the Wii's major releases (SSBB, Mario Galaxy, et. al.) and this game just NEVER ends. I've put in about 200 hours I think and I had to take a couple of breaks from it, but I was quickly back at it again. I don't think I'll ever get tired of MH3 :P
I just bought a digital converter box for my old TV (thanks US government) and I am having a problem. I need to hook up the conveter box, a DVD player, and the Wii ino the same TV. Because of the converter box needing to be plugged into the AV ports, the only place left to plug in the Wii is the component ports.
So, I went out to buy some component cables at Best Buy for 35 bucks and I came home to hook everything up. Mind you, my television is not capable of displaying an HD signal, but it does have the component ports anway. But the problem is, I plugged the Wii into the component ports using the new component cables and the picture is BLACK and WHITE. !?!?! There is no way that I cansee to fix this problem. I have tried everything. Can someone please help? Has anyone had this problem?
...ever notice who the enemy AI aims at when it gets a Dragoon? Take a wild guess, I dare ya.
As to why this is, your guess is as good as anyones. maybe because it's a Nintendo game? lol
