Demos are great. I'll take anything that is FREE of course. But I'm still waiting on NES Contra and all the TMNT games from the SNES and NES, although I don't think it'll ever happen.

Hey guys. I'm stuck between two shmups . . . uhhh. Let me rephrase that: I mean, I cannot decide between two shoot-em-up games that I want to get on the VC. I can't decide between M.U.S.H.A. and Gate of Thunder. M.U.S.H.A. is vertically scrolling and seems to be the stronger game (from what I've read), but Gate of Thunder is side scrolling and has an awesome soundtrack that I really dig and is supposed to be a blast to play as well. So which is better in you guy's/gal's opinion?

[QUOTE="HeavyMetalKirby"]

Iv'e watched some YouTube videos on this game and... it doesnt look that appealing to me, at all. am i the only wii gamer who thinks this? :|

mrfokken

No. While I think it is probably a really good game, I am not the kind of gamer who finds it enjoyable to spend an hour or two figuring out how to kill a monster. Call it monster ADD if you will, but building up my character's skills and collecting items to build better weapons for the purpose of hunting bigger monsters doesn't get me excited.

Still, I don't think some videos on YouTube can really show you what this game is all about, and the people who like obviously really like it.

Yeah, videos don't do it justice. It's the total "carrot in front of a mule" trick that gets you hooked... like me! I own almost ALL of the Wii's major releases (SSBB, Mario Galaxy, et. al.) and this game just NEVER ends. I've put in about 200 hours I think and I had to take a couple of breaks from it, but I was quickly back at it again. I don't think I'll ever get tired of MH3 :P

I just bought a digital converter box for my old TV (thanks US government) and I am having a problem. I need to hook up the conveter box, a DVD player, and the Wii ino the same TV. Because of the converter box needing to be plugged into the AV ports, the only place left to plug in the Wii is the component ports.

So, I went out to buy some component cables at Best Buy for 35 bucks and I came home to hook everything up. Mind you, my television is not capable of displaying an HD signal, but it does have the component ports anway. But the problem is, I plugged the Wii into the component ports using the new component cables and the picture is BLACK and WHITE. !?!?! There is no way that I cansee to fix this problem. I have tried everything. Can someone please help? Has anyone had this problem?

If I am not mistaken, Spore was supposed to be coming out for the PC and Wii as well. Several other sites confirmed this. Did I miss some kind of cancelation announcement or was I mislead or something? Does anyone know if Wii will be getting Spore?

I haven't been to the ol' local game store yet.. Is it hard to find? Or did Ninty make enough copies for everyone?

You are at the Dynamo. Use the wavebuster (the wave beam charge combo). It will seek your target. You can't lock onto or scan this enemy. Just use the wavebuster, which has homing ability, and hold it down until it is dead. Make sure you are pointing in the general direction of the enemy first though. I think it is like a flying drone thing that uses a cloak. You can't scan it.

2 save files at 90+ hours each. It's pretty much all I played for about 7 months. What can I say... I love Zelda!
