AIDA64 does not test stability well at all, it is very easy to pass with an unstable system. Run OCCT.

You can get a pci express adapter and then mod your bios if you want to boot from it.

I have followed many of his guides on updating the Intel RAID rom before, he knows what he is talking about. Never modded one for NVME though, but it should work fine.

It's only really useful if you use the raid options, you don't need it.

Either one is fine, Windows 7s is more stable, 10 is faster.

I just use a spare pc with a g4560 running plex. Works pretty great along with stablebit drivepool, don't see a need for a NAS unless you are very limited on space.

amd, the 2700 is a great buy for the price. That and a cheaper motherboard would save quite a bit of money.
